"Bet you even recreated the sexy scenes." I whisper.
She wiggles her eyes. I laugh.
,,That was so obvious." I laugh.
April is the naughtiest among the two of us. When I wrote a few spicy scenes in my novel and in the fantasy book too, I was so ashamed.
"Hey, you, someone's watching you." she whispers in my ear.
She points discreetly to the other side of the bar. I slowly turn my head and see him sitting there with his cap on, a smile on his face as I look at him. I quickly turn my head and shake my hair so that my red cheeks aren't visible. April wiggles her eyebrows and I shake my head, grinning. I watch April as she talks to Marti, she is a beautiful woman, her short black hair that she always styles so beautifully, her long thick eyelashes, her light blue eyes as if she were Tommy Shelby's sister.
I look again at Hayden, who is now talking to a man. I've always loved his smile and all the TikTok edits make me melt.
As if he notices that I'm watching him, he looks at me, I quickly look away.
"Hey Spider-Man's sister, I think it's time for April to go home," says Marti. "The taxi is already waiting for you outside."
I look at April, who is completely drunk, my eyes wander over all the shots. When did she all order and drink? I get up from the bar stool, put a few bills on the counter, and Matri takes them with a grin. I put April's arm around my shoulder and she slipped off the bar stool.
"Bye Bye Marti." April slurs.
"Bye bye sweetie." he says. "Bye bye pretty for you too."
"Bye Marti." I open the bar door and the taxi is right in front of it, I open the back door, I put April in, who makes room for me, I sit down, give the taxi driver the address. April's head is on my shoulder.
In the house I lay her on the couch, take off her ballerinas and take off her dress because it's so damn warm even though the sun has long since set. I put a water bottle and a pill on the table for her and went up to the guest room.

„How can you drink so much and not have a hangover?" I ask April the next day.
She really doesn't look like she drank many shots yesterday. Freshly showered in a cute summer dress that falls to her knees, she sits on the bar stool and sips her coffee while checking her email. I'm still in an oversized t-shirt and my hair is sticking up in all directions.
"Well, I'm different now." she laughs.
I pour myself coffee and put some pancakes on a plate, take the maple syrup and drown them with it.
"Even I, as a Canadian, don't put in that much maple syrup." She grimaces.
I shrug and take a bite.
"I still have a few things to do today. Are you coping?" She looks up at me from her laptop.
,,Yes. I think I will go to the Cafe Bookstore again." I'll tell.
She nods. Pack up her things, say goodbye and leave the house. I sigh because the pancakes taste so delicious.
