"I'll feel better." I say. I look at my brothers who immediately come to me. "I'm so sorry Jersey." Sam says first.
"Yeah, totally, we didn't want to scare you so bad." Paddy looks like he's about to cry.
"We will never scare you again, we swear." Harry plants a kiss on my forehead. "I told your boyfriend you were in the hospital."
"You should call him, he's probably really worried about you." Tom squeezes my hand.
"The doctors want to keep you under observation for the night." Dad says. "I'll come pick you up tomorrow." He kisses me on the forehead. Mom looks like she's happy to stay here when she offered, but I promised her I'd be fine. My brothers say goodbye and apologize to me again.
My cell phone is on the table next to me and I call Hayden, even though it's a little difficult for me to speak.
"Hey sweet girl, how are you feeling?" His blue eyes look tired, I look at the clock opposite the wall, there are five hours between us.
"My whole body hurts and my lungs still hurt a bit." I whispered. He rubs his face with his hand. "I didn't know you had asthma. God, Jersey, I slept with you several times during the night, even when you were out of breath." He doesn't sound angry, just worried. "I haven't had a seizure in years. Today was the first time." I take the cup and drink the whole glass.
