As soon as we entered the restaurant, I had to go to the bathroom because the little one who lives in my belly likes to press on my bladder. Hayden surprised me with breakfast this morning, then my mom came and picked up Anakin so that we could both have time for ourselves.
We bathed together and that led to me sitting on Hayden and riding him, the water went over the edge of the pool so that Hayden wiped it away afterwards.
Now we are sitting in the restaurant and enjoying the beautiful evening, some people recognized Hayden or me and wanted to get autographs or take pictures.
"I can hardly wait until she finally comes out," I say and poke my belly with my finger, which immediately causes my daughter to kick me.
Hayden looks at me with a smile, I lean a little more forward, as my belly allows me, and take a small piece of steak from his plate and chew happily on it.
"Jersey?" I turn to the voice and the steak almost gets stuck in my throat. Chris is sitting with his wife, who smiles at me but still looks at me.
We look at each other in silence and then I turn my head to Hayden, who glares angrily at Chris.
"It's been ages since we saw each other," he says. "Oh, that's my wife Alba."
We both nod at each other.
"That's my husband Hayden," I say and Hayden grins because I called him my husband, which is true, but nobody knows that we're married.
"Nice to meet you," says Chris and the two men shake hands. I hold my stomach because the little one in there is starting to kick.
"What will it be this time?" asks Alba and points to my stomach.
"A girl," I say and feel uncomfortable that the two of them are sitting next to us. Even though Hayden looks like he wants to strangle Chris, he still talks to him.
The two of them talk about Star Wars and the Avengers and all that. I continue eating in silence and just want to go home.
"How are the little ones?" asks Chris and the question is directed at me, I look at him and I want to punch him.
"He's fine." I say and look back at Hayden. "If you'll excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom."
Hayden stands up and helps me stand up, I kiss him on the mouth which makes him grin.
In the bathroom I take a little longer than usual, I stand in front of the mirror and breathe in and out calmly. How dare he even talk to me normally? As if he hadn't broken my heart and called me a child and then married a woman who is almost the same age as me.
I leave the bathroom again and Hayden stands up, my small handbag in his hand. He holds it out to me in his other hand, I take it with a smile and he pulls me towards him.
"Shall we go?" he asks. I nod. He kisses my palm. "I had cake packed for you," he whispers in my ear and makes me laugh quietly.
"Oh good, you're here." My mother is carrying a smiling Anakin, who spreads his arms when he sees us. Hayden takes him from my mom.
"Is everything OK?" I ask.
"Your dad made a wrong move when he tried to pick up Anakin. He's sitting in the car waiting for me to go to the hospital."
