When we are both in bed, we fall asleep immediately and when we sit together in the living room and watch a film, Aurora cries or we see Anakin standing in the middle of the living room with his stuffed animal and then squeezes himself between us and falls asleep.
Or when we are just about to sleep together, one of them cries or Aurora suddenly gets hungry or Anakin knocks on the door. Once Hayden and I forgot to close the bedroom door because we were so caught up in lust and when I turned my neck so that Hayden could kiss me better there, I screamed when I saw Anakin standing there rubbing his eye. I quickly pushed Hayden away.
"Do you remember when Anakin just showed up in our room?" I laugh. Hayden nods and laughs. "That was a little scary." he says.
"How does he manage to get out of that bed?" I ask, looking at Hayden.
"Your brothers." he says. "They taught him, I saw them cheering him on as he got out of bed through the bars."
"Oh, those idiots." I say. "Then we need to get bars that are thicker."
Hayden laughs loudly and I lie on top of him, he caresses my bare bottom and squeezes lightly. I love his laugh, it sounds so beautiful and so warm.
"We should get dressed slowly before they come back." I whisper into his mouth.
"Mmh" he says and kisses me, but before he can sink back in, I roll off him and get dressed.
In the kitchen I warm up food in the microwave because I haven't eaten anything yet and have fallen asleep with the children, I sit down at the dining table and eat. The door opens and Anakin runs to me, I lift him up and kiss both of his cheeks and of course he immediately reaches for the fork.
"The little one is quick." says David and sits down exhausted opposite me and looks at his uncle's son, pretending to be angry.
I take the fork from Anakin's hand and quietly cut a small piece, he chews happily.
"And she was a sweetheart," says Alie. "But she got whiny, I guess she's hungry, my love." Anakin, who doesn't want to get off my lap, clings to me as his grandmother hands me his sister. I knew he'd become more clingy since his sister was born, because he'd always been denied attention. And I try to treat both of them equally. Hayden watches amused as I adjust Anakin to carry his sister properly. "Could you please help me," I hiss, because Anakin starts to pull my hair.
Hayden quickly stands up and takes Anakin, who starts to whine.
"Should we go home?" asks Hayden and nods too when Aurora starts to cry.

"You're acting strange." I say to April when I show up unannounced.
Both boys hug each other and go into the living room, where Jax's toys are spread out. I run after April, who goes into the kitchen and pours herself a glass of wine. She asks me silently, but I shake my head.
"I'm not acting strange at all," she says and takes a huge gulp of wine.
I roll my eyes and get a small bottle of water from the fridge.
"Yes, you are." I look at her and she avoids my gaze.
Okay, she doesn't seem to want to talk about it.
"I have to find a wedding dress." I say and sit down on the couch. April looks at me with wide eyes.
