Jungkook chuckled at Lisa. His lips curved and his little dimples could be seen on his cheeks. He lowered his head, kissed Lisa, and wooed her. "Be a good girl, Lili. We can't just yet."
Lisa blinked and look at Jungkook in surprise. "Are you not a man?"
Jungkook loved intimacy in the past. And he also liked to cling onto her
Now Jungkook was declining her after she had taken the initiative?
Jungkook pulled the blanket over and placed it on top of Lisa.
"I am a man, but this is not the time." Jungkook adjusted the blanket over her.
Lisa, "......"
The scene felt very familiar. She had pulled the blanket over Jungkook before in the exact same way.
Lisa was unhappy. She sat up and the blanket fell off her. She wanted to throw a fit but, the very next second, her ankle was grabbed by Jungkook.
His tall and large body half kneeled in front of her and he removed her shoes for her gently.
His slender fingers agilely undid the buckle on her shoes and he loosened the straps that wrapped over the top of her foot.
Lisa's frustration was quelled instantly. She looked at Jungkook who was holding her feet with his head lowered and she felt her heart softened. "If now is not the time, when will be the right time?"
To Lisa, she had already been with Jungkook many times in the past and it was not unfamiliar to her. To Jungkook, however, he had no experience at all and did not wish to engage in such a casual manner. "After we are married, Lili."
Lisa's eyes widened and she couldn't help but reached out and pinched him on his cheek. "This is the first time I've learned that you are such a conservative person." She harrumphed and said in discontent, "Besides, how are you so sure that I will marry you?"
Jungkook took her shoes off, lowered his head, and kissed her on the top of her foot. His tone was very affirmative, "Lili will marry no one but me."
Lisa blushed and wanted to pull her foot back. "Says who?"
Jungkook curved his lips and said nothing.
He had a strong feeling that his wife could only be Lisa.
When Lisa woke up the next morning, Jungkook was also gone.
She had fallen asleep the night before shortly after he had wooed her. She had no idea when or how did he leave.
When Lisa went downstairs, Old Mr. Kim was already having his tea in the living room.
"Good morning, Grandpa."
"You are up? Breakfast is ready. Let's head over." Old Mr. Kim was in good spirit today.
Lisa walked over to him, held him, and walked over to the dining area to dine with her grandfather.
After dinner, Lisa heard the butler announcing to Old Mr. Kim, "Master, the Young Master from the Jeon family is here to pay you a visit."
"The Jeon family?" Old Mr. Kim nodded. "Sure, bring him in."
Lisa was very surprised to hear that Jungkook was here.
She had avoided her family members and snuck him into her room the night before and he decided to come straight through the front door the next morning?
Jungkook came inside quickly. He had already changed into a new outfit. His suit was very wrinkled from Jungkook being on top of him the night before and he immediately returned to the hotel and changed after he had left the Kim's.
"Hi, Grandpa Kim, I am Jungkook."
Old Mr. Kim recognized him as the young man who was following his granddaughter around from the banquet. He eyed Jungkook sternly. "You are the son of Jeon Jiyong?"
Jungkook answered respectfully, "That's correct, Grandpa Kim."
"You can just call me Old Mr. Kim." Old Mr. Kim did not want the boy to suggest their relationship as closer than it really was. He did notice that Jungkook had immediately glanced over in Lisa's directly the second that he walked inside.
He had the audacity to eye the pearl of the Kim family.
