The next day.
Lisa realized that she was still running a fever, but it was not as bad as the day before.
Someone knocked on her door suddenly.
"What is it?" It was a servant that was standing outside her door.
"Madam had me come and get you."
Lisa nodded. She, too, needed to talk to Mother Jung.
Eunha was there as well, looking like she couldn't wait to see the drama unfold.
Mother Jung greeted the guest. "Yu Jia, I already have someone go get Lali. She will be down shortly. Have a seat."
"Oh, it's quite fine." Yu Jia repeatedly wiped the sweat on his forehead. His chubby body took over most of the couch.
"You've mentioned before that you would like to marry Lali, and you are willing to give half of your company's stocks as bride money, right?" asked Mother Jung. "Is your family okay with that?"
"My mom had already given me half of the company stocks. As long as Lali is willing to marry me, I will give them all to her." Shyness could be seen on Yu Jia's chubby face.
"Aunty knows that you have real feelings for Lali. I am supportive of the two of you getting married," said Mother Jung with a smile.
Next to them, Eunha chimed in as well, "I am supportive of it as her cousin as well."
Lisa deserved someone like this.
Yu Jia was very emotional when he heard that both of them were supportive of him. "I will be nice to Lali in the future."
Mother Jung nodded contently. "You look like an honest child. I trust that you will be nice to Lali."
Lisa came downstairs at this point.
Catching a glance of the body coming downstairs, Yu Jia's thread-like eyes opened some more. He looked at Lisa happily.
Lisa seemed to have grown even prettier since the last time he had seen her.
"Ah, Lali is here. How are you feeling? Yu Jia is here to visit," said Mother Jung with a smile.
"Lali is sick?" Yu Jia asked Mother Jung.
"Yes, she started running a fever yesterday. She likes to run around wild. I told her to go have a doctor check her out at the hospital, but she never went. She always makes me worry about her." Mother Jung sighed. "I always wished for someone to take care of her."
Yu Jia looked worried. "I can take Lali to the hospital."
Eunha sat to one side. Looking at Lisa, Eunha's eyes darkened some. Lisa had a sense of beauty even when she was ill. It made one's heart ache, wanting to dote on her.
No wonder she was able to catch Young Master Jungkook's attention.
Eunha harrumphed and waited for the drama to unfold.
"Lali, why don't you have Yu Jia take you to the hospital?" said Mother Jung. "He came over today to talk about your marriage."
"I have always been friends with Mrs. Yu. She is a nice lady, and you will get along with her well. Yu Jia likes you as well and will be very nice to you in the future. He is also an honest boy. You won't need to worry that he will have affairs in the future."
Mother Jung smiled and said, "You will live a happy life with him."
Lisa was a little dazed at first, but Mother Jung's words made her burst out laughing from anger. "Are you asking me to marry a stranger?"
"The two of you have met a few times already. What do you mean by stranger?" said Mother Jung.
Lisa snickered. "I don't care if he is a stranger or not. I don't like him. Besides, you have no right to interfere with my matters or who I marry."
Whatever made Mother Jung feel that she could decide on Lisa's marriage?
Eunha was unhappy. "Watch your manners, Lisa. My mom only has your best interest in mind."
Lisa's lips tightened a little. "If you think he's such a great catch, why don't you marry him instead?"
"You......" Eunha said angrily, "You live in our house and eat our food, but now you have turned into an unappreciative white-eyed wolf?"
Lisa found that comical. "The Jung's business would have gone belly up without my parents' insurance money. The amount was more than enough to support me for life."
Lisa's eyes were cold. "I don't own the Jung's anything."
She looked over at Mother Jung coldly. "Give me back the things from my parents. I am leaving here right now."
