Lisa knew that Jungkook was reluctant to leave her behind.
She sighed and cupped Jungkook's cheeks. She gave him a forceful kiss and said, "Okay. Together."
"What you need to do in a little while is to get Crew Cut's attention, and I'll attack him from behind." Lisa gritted her teeth. She could always hold the guy back.
Jungkook's pitch-black eyes lit up. He protects Odd Big Sister.
Lisa had just finished talking when Crew Cut recalled that he had forgotten to lock the door to the little room. He hurried back to lock the room.
"How were you able to untie yourself?"
Crew Cut, still holding onto the wooden rod, was stunned when he saw Jungkook standing inside the little room.
Jungkook's arms and legs were tied earlier, but he was untied now.
Recalling how his partner was passed out with bleeding from his forehead out of the blue, Crew Cut's grip on the wooden rod tightened. He threatened Jungkook, "My boss will be back soon. If you don't want more suffering, you better listen to me and tie your own legs back up."
Jungkook's pitch-black eyes looked in one direction and ignored him completely.
Crew Cut snickered and rushed up to him with the wooden rod in hand. "You are still a baby when I was already in street fights. You got balls."
Seeing that the wooden rod was about to fall onto Jungkook, Lisa quickly dragged him aside and, without thinking, grabbed the wooden chair by the bed.
Missing his mark, Crew Cut was so angry that his face was crooked. He swung the wooden rod violently at Jungkook again. "You......"
The next second, Crew Cut's sentence stopped in the middle.
His eyes rounded from shock, and his mouth dropped open. "The chair. The chair is floating in the air......"
He wasn't even done talking when the wooden chair landed on him. Crew Cut was so shocked that he threw his hands over his head reflexively.
Lisa swung the chair ruthlessly. The chair shifted a little and successfully landed on Crew Cut's head. It was so painful that his face contorted as he gasped for air.
"Jungkook, run." Lisa's plan was to have Jungkook start running, while she would stay and keep Crew Cut behind.
Jungkook didn't acknowledge her. Instead, he dashed toward Crew Cut, and before Crew Cut could recollect himself, Jungkook swung at him.
Must protect Odd Big Sister.
The two started to struggle.
"Jungkook!" Lisa looked on worriedly.
Jungkook was injured, and he had never fought before. Crew Cut was obviously someone well-versed in fighting. He was agile, and Jungkook would most likely lose this battle. Lisa worried that Jungkook would be hurt.
Gritting her teeth, Lisa quickly picked up the brick that she had put down earlier.
Crew Cut was punched twice by Jungkook. He didn't think that not only did the fool have sturdy bones and was not bothered by pain, but he also had strong fists.
He spat out a mouthful of blood onto the floor as he picked up his wooden rod. He was just about to swing at Jungkook again when, the next second, he felt pain in his head.
Crew Cut turned in surprise. He saw a piece of brick in mid-air coming at him.
Crew Cut agilely avoided it this time and rolled on the floor clumsily.
"Goodness gracious, what the heck is going on? Why is there a flying brick?"
Crew Cut was just hit by the flying chair and was still stunned. Now that he saw the flying brick, he was too shocked to even speak.
Lisa did not let him go. She smashed the brick at Crew Cut again.
"There's a ghost here!"
Crew Cut quickly scrambled back onto his feet. The brick grazed his cheek and drew blood instantly.
Crew Cut waved the wooden rod, and his voice trembled. He suddenly recalled the bleeding from Heizi's forehead. Was that also caused by this piece of brick?
He almost lost his voice from fear. "Who is it? Show yourself. Stop pretending that this is some sort of paranormal activity!"
The wooden rod went through Lisa's body, and Jungkook shouted out from panic, "Odd Big Sister!"
"I'm fine." Lisa could see Crew Cut's legs shaking. Swinging the wooden rod randomly, he looked around him in panic.
Was... was it a ghost?
