Carmilla is a fallen angel: 1/10. While her being a fallen angel would explain why she has such a large monopoly over angelic steel in Hell, she looks nothing like an exorcist, and she doesn't fight like one, either. It also doesn't take into account why she's in Hell with her daughters. It's highly implied that Adam created the exorcists, and that they're not born from human souls, which explains why the only known exorcists we've seen so far are named after things that he likes. I also think it highly unlikely that he would give them the ability to have children, as Carmilla has, as he seems like the type of person who wants to fuck women without the risk of getting them pregnant. I think the most likely explanation for Carmilla's origins is that 1.) she and her daughters died and reunited in Hell, or 2.) Carmilla was pregnant when she died, and gave birth to her daughters in Hell, which technically makes them both sinners and Hellborns.
Lillith owns Alastor's soul: 6/10. The timing definitely matches up. Alastor and Lillith have both been gone for seven years, and Alastor mysteriously reappeared as soon as Charlie opened the hotel, offering his services to her. However, I'm not sure why Lillith would want him involved with the hotel. The obvious answer seems to be that she sent him to protect her, but if Charlie's supposed to be the third strongest demon in Hell, why would she need a bodyguard? The other answer could be that he's there to make her realise that her dream is doomed, and that Heaven will never accept sinners. Lillith doesn't want to redeem her people—She's in Heaven because she wants to destroy it from the inside, and Alastor is there to make Charlie realise that the only way she can save her people is by destroying the foundation of Heaven. She needs a truly evil role model to help her embrace her position as the princess of Hell, and work with her people's innate strengths, and not against them. Of course, this is all baseless theorising, and there's little evidence to support it, so unless more evidence surfaces, it remains a 6/10
A soul's judgement is based on where they think they deserve to go, and not on their sins: 9/10. There seems to be some evidence to support this. Adam is a genocidal maniac who abused Lillith, and takes pleasure in slaughtering sinners, and yet he went to Heaven. He genuinely believes that he deserves it, and that he can do no wrong. Sir Pentious was redeemed for the noble act of sacrificing himself for his friends, and in his final moments, he likely believed that he had fully turned to the side of good. Alastor, for all his faults, is self-aware, and he knows that he deserves Hell because he was a murderer and a cannibal when he was alive. All of the other sinners appear self-aware as well, and know that they're in Hell because they deserve to be.
Hell is actually limbo, and souls who pass the test end up in Heaven: 1/10. If Hell was a limbo, then why would it be full of nothing but bad people? And more importantly, why would there be other demon species who have never been human there?
Alastor hates men because his father was abusive: 6/10. I can see why people think this, but there's not much evidence to support it aside from the comparison of how he treats women vs men. Still, I definitely think that it's possible. I think that Alastor is a sociopath, as he displays a lot of sociopathic traits (impulsiveness, lack of empathy, disregard for the feelings of others, attachment to only a few people he's very close to), and antisocial personality disorder is commonly caused by childhood abuse. His father being abusive would explain his seeming hatred for men, and his sociopathic tendencies.
