Charlie: 2/10. She has good intentions, but her execution is horrible. Her naïveté grates on my nerves like cheese as well. Her reasoning for wanting to send sinners to Heaven is never fully expanded upon, and I don't like the fact that she thinks of all sinners as victims of circumstance instead of people who chose to be bad. There are sinners who are victims of circumstance like Angel Dust, but he is so far the only one. All of the other sinners we've seen so far are genuinely bad people, and there was nothing in their lives forcing them to be bad. I also didn't like how useless she was in the final battle, and how she didn't do anything but cry and wave her shield around for most of it.

Vaggie: 2/10. She had potential. So much potential. I hate that she's been reduced to being Charlie's pet instead of an actual character. Yes, I said pet, because I have no clue why she and Charlie are together. They have nothing in common and zero romantic chemistry. Friends? Maybe. Lovers, no. After the reveal that she used to be an exorcist, I actually started disliking her more because she has no right to judge anyone in Hell for killing people when she's killed thousands. While it can be argued that she was just doing her job, at the end of the day, meaningless genocide is meaningless genocide, regardless of who's doing it. And just to top it off, none of her songs are any good. It's a shame because she's voiced by Stephanie Beatriz, who is an amazing singer, but none of Vaggie's songs advance the plot or tell us anything that we don't already know about her. She loves Charlie. Ok, but why? She wants to protect Charlie's dream. Great, but what does that have to do with Carmilla Carmine singing about not wanting to pick a fight with Heaven because she doesn't want to put her daughters in danger?

Angel Dust: 6/10. Not my fave, but I like him a lot. I wish the show treated the fact that uses his hypersexuality as a coping mechanism more seriously, though. I don't like the fact that he's essentially been reduced to a butt-monkey who exists to be shipped with Husk, or to butt heads with Vaggie, though. Hopefully they'll fix that in season 2.

Husk: 4/10. Liked him before the series aired, but now I don't anymore. He's a complete hypocrite who has the nerve to whine about being owned by Alastor when he used to be an overlord, and therefore owned souls himself. Eat shit, pussycat, you don't get to whine about being a victim of the very same thing you subjected others to. That's also one of the main reasons why I hate Huskerdust so much (Yes, I hate Huskerdust, die mad about it.) The only reason he's not a 1/10 is because he's fun to watch and because he's voiced by Keith David (Which is ironic as all Hell)

Alastor: 9/10. He is incredible, you can't deny that. He steals the show every time he's on screen, his songs are great, his motivations are shrouded in mystery, and it's impossible to tell what he really is. The thing I like most about him is that we, at this point in time don't know whether he's an anti-hero, or an anti-villain, because we don't know what his end goal is. Either way, he's one of the only reasons why I watch this show and if he wasn't in it I wouldn't like it nearly as much as I do.

Niffty: 7/10. My beloved chaos gremlin. Her motivations and backstory haven't been delved into yet, but I'm expecting good things. I also think that she serves as a decent morality pet for Alastor, as despite his cannibalism and murderous tendencies, he's shown to care for her, and treat her like a daughter. She shows that beneath all of the awful things Alastor does, there is some good in his soul.

Adam: 2/10. Meh. He should have been a more complex villain, but instead he was reduced to a generic douchebag. It's a shame because he does kind of make a good point in Hell is Forever. If sinners had their entire mortal lives to be good, and they instead chose to be bad, then why should they get a second chance now that they're dead? Instead of confronting the fact that maybe some people are beyond redemption, everything he brings up gets glossed over.

Lute: 7/10. She's a better version of Vaggie, because she genuinely believes and supports Adam's point of view instead of going along with it just because she loves him. Is she terrible? Yes. But she has a clearly defined moral compass and cares deeply about Heaven, and about Adam.

Emily: 7/10. She's a better version of Charlie. Her naïveté makes sense because she's a seraphim who has only ever met good human souls, and she doesn't understand just how bad people can be. She's also the first to bring up a valid argument against the extermination, that being that the higher ups of Heaven have no right to claim the moral high ground when they needlessly slaughter the sinners in Hell. It would make a lot more sense for her to be the main character. Also she had better chemistry with Charlie in one episode than Vaggie did in the entire season. RoyalHalo is better than Chaggie, die mad about it.

Sera: 6/10. I like that she acknowledges the fact that she knows that the extermination of human souls is wrong, but sees it as a necessary evil to protect the souls in Heaven. I can't wait to see her fully realise that redemption is possible, and that the years of exterminations wiped out tens of thousands of souls which souls have been redeemed.
