Lukas and Aiden were looking for supplies, searching the forest. “We got everything, Lukas?” Aiden asked, in a bit of a sharp tone. “Seems like it.” Lukas answered, checking off something from his journal. “You're still carrying that old damn book??” Aiden asked. Lukas looked at him, confused. “Yeah? I’m not letting it go to waste.” Lukas said confidently and confused about the question Aiden asked.
Aiden sighed. Both of their thoughts ended when they heard a rustle in the bushes. “One of them is near.” Aiden replied blankly. He immediately got behind Lukas, him getting shocked. “What are you doing!?” Lukas whispered. “My sword broke trying to fight off one of the infected, now shoot it!” Aiden whispered back snappily.
The blonde male slowly pointed his bow and arrow at the bush. His heart started to race, him hyperventilating. “SHOOT IT!” Aiden yelled, nudging Lukas. “DON’T SHOOT!” Something in the bush insisted. Lukas’s heart sank, Aiden looked with confusion at the bush. “W-who’s there?” Lukas questioned the person. “THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?” Aiden whispered.
A figure soon emerged from the bush, walking out of the shade, showing their face. It was Jesse. One of the Ocelots sworn enemies. Lukas didn’t mind him, he was nice to him most of the time. Even then, he was still nice. Aiden audibly sighed.“Great, this loser!” “Aiden, relax.” Lukas added. He slowly lowered his bow and arrow.“Weren’t you at the base?” Lukas questioned. “Was. Petra ran off pissed. I went looking for her. Don’t know where she went.” He answered honestly. Jesse seemed tired, burnt out. His hair was clearly messier than normal. “What about Axel and Olivia?” Lukas continued. “Went to find the other members of the Order. Haven’t returned.” He said vaguely.
“Probably dead.” Aiden muttered. “Aiden.” Lukas said strictly under his breath. “How about you come with us, I’d be happy to help you find her.” Lukas insisted. “WHAT!?” Aiden yelled. “LUKAS, HE’S OUR FUCKING ENEMY!” Aiden continued. “So? It’s better to stay together.” Lukas insisted. Aiden groaned loudly. “Fine. But if shit fails, YOUR the one to blame.” Aiden gave in.
