Jesse and Lukas walked back to the cave, Lukas being alert. “You good, Lukas? You seem on edge or something.” Jesse asked. “I’m... mostly fine. I just have a bad gut feeling that something might happen. I don’t know what, but I just... I just have this feeling.” Lukas answered.

“I’m sure we’ll all be fine, especially Ellegaard now, we’re close to finding the cure!” Jessica added happily, excited to end this. Lukas smiled, slowly frowning. “What’s wrong? Was it something I said?” She questioned him, seeing him looking unsure or scared. It was silent for a moment between them.

“Yeah, let’s just get back to the cave.” Lukas assured. Jessica shrugged it off, continuing. Lukas was hesitant on the ‘cure’, or attempt. And that Ellegaard was going to be ‘okay’. But he didn’t want to ruin her spirit. A random rustling was heard through the eerie forest.

“Get behind me, Lukas.” Jessica demanded, Lukas following. “What’s your plan?” He whispered. “I don’t know, but I'd rather you not nearly die again.” Jessica stated. The rustling became louder, a creature emerging from the dark green bush. Jessica backed up, seeing the shadow come out from the bush.

It slowly came out from the shade, revealing itself. “I-isn’t that...” “Magnus.” Jessica answered, terrified. He looked like he fused— or merged— with a creeper. He had TNT in the middle of his chest, covered in blood. He was standing on his legs and arm, his arms higher, like Gill was. He had those same rib-cage wings. He was covered in blood, head to toe.

Jessica looked around for something that might help. She noticed some blue orchids on the ground near her. She quickly grabbed them, holding them out in front of her. “WHAT IS THAT GOING TO DO!?” Lukas yelled in a whisper. “I-it might stun it or something! I-I don’t know!!” Jessica admitted.

It came closer, its neck extending to the flower. It immediately shrieked, running away. “That worked!?” Lukas added, looking behind him to see the infected scrambling away. Lukas looked back at Jessica, who was standing there, frozen. “Jessica?” He asked, checking on her.

“Holy fuck.” She muttered, chuckling nervously. “That’s one way to put it.” Lukas said, backing away from Jessica. Jessica slowly became less tense, trying to calm down. The silence was broken by yelling. “STOP FUCKING EATING YOURSELF!!!” A familiar voice yelled angrily.

“Axel?” Lukas questioned. “FUCK OFF!!” A raspy, gravely voice responded just as snappy. “That isn’t good.” Jessica pointed out. They ran to the cave entrance, checking on the commotion.
