Lukas and Jessica ran to the cave entrance, seeing Axel trying to stop Ellegaard from doing something. Jessica’s attention switched to Ellegaard’s arm, which had a chunk of skin missing that looked like someone bit it off. It was all bloody and gorey.
“I think I’m going to be sick...” Lukas muttered, feeling squeamish and nauseous. “What happened!?” Jessica asked, shocked. “She was trying to eat her own damn arm, that’s what! And where were you guys?!” Axel questioned them, pissed. “We ran into an infected. We found out that they hate blue orchids and run away from them.” Jessica answered.
“I didn’t know they eat their own flesh...” Lukas muttered, feeling like he wanted to vomit. “No one did.” Axel added. “Anywho, wanna try this cure again?” Axel changed the subject, walking away from the area Jessica walked over to, making the cure. Lukas hovered over her shoulder. She carefully added some blue orchids, then gave a small portion to Ellegaard.
“If you WANT to ‘cUrE’ me, you're going to have to force me.” Ellegaard threatened. Jessica’s expression quickly turned into a serious one. Jessica approached her, taking it and making her take it. Ellegaard coughed violently afterward, and Jessica immediately backing up. “YOU— BITCH!” Ellegaard choked up, wheezing violently.
Some of her skin turned lighter. “That’s progress. We’re going to have to get more blue orchids.” Jessica stated. “They barely appear around here! We’re going to have to go to a swamp to find them!” Axel complained. Jessica put the rest of the cure in a glass bottle, putting it in her inventory, grabbing a lead.
“We’ll just have to go extra quick.” She said gleefully. “I hate you fuckers.” Ellegaard muttered. “We do too, fuckhead.” Axel glared. “Axel.” Jessica added.
