Ivy put some potion of healing on Jessica’s burn, covering it with non-stick bandages. “Sorry about back in the Nether.” Jessica added, feeling guilty. “You're fine, I appreciate you trying to help me.” Ivy smiled, finishing putting on the bandages. “Now, let’s add in the ghast tears and test this out.” Ivy replied, rushing downstairs with Jessica to the lab.

“You got the stuff?” Axel asked. “Yup!” Ivy answered, pulling them out and crushing them up. “You sure that’s how you're supposed to do it?” Lukas replied worriedly, flinching every time. “Yup, that’s how the people who cured me did it.” Ivy assured him, finishing crushing them up and adding them into the cures, a weird mist coming from it, causing Ivy to cough.
Lukas covered his mouth in a panic, becoming even more paranoid and on edge. “All good!” She assured him. “So, what do we do?” Ivy asked. Jessica was silent for a second. “I’ll try it on Ellegaard.” Jessica answered. She turned around, going to test it on Ellegaard. Jessica was just about to approach Ellegaard until Ivy stopped her. “Let me.” She insisted.
Jessica nodded, handing the one cure to Ivy. Ivy nodded as a thanks, then slowly approached Ellegaard. “The fuck are you doing!?” Ellegaard demanded. “I won’t hurt you, none of us will, we’re going to help you.” Ivy assured her. Then, she tried handing it to Ellegaard. “I don’t want your DAMN potion!” Ellegaard yelled. Ivy then prepared herself, throwing it at her. “HEY!!! YOU BI-” Ellegaard yelled, before going silent.
It was silent for a long moment. Once the mist cleared, it showed Ellegaard again, still pale, but only a faint hint of the purple veins, her eyes still black. She blinked for a second, confusion on her face. “W-why can’t I see!! W-where am I!!” She panicked. “It worked. IT WORKED!!” Jessica shouted in pride. “W-what worked!? What did you do!?” Ellegaard questioned.
Axel saw one of the other cures on the table, getting an idea. Axel immediately had an idea. He stormed over to where the other cures were. “Axel?” Lukas called out, looking over to see Axel grab one of the cures. He knew immediately what Axel was doing.
“Axel, he’s far from being able to save! There’s no point! AXEL!!! AXEL, LISTEN TO ME!!!”
Axel walked over to the area where Jesse was enclosed, blocking out Lukas’s logic. He was the reason Jesse was dead, and he’ll be the reason he’s alive. Axel immediately shoved the cure into the slot, hitting Jesse. Jesse collapsed to the ground. Jessica rushed over, panicking. She snapped her head to Axel. “WHAT DID YOU DO!?!” Jessica demanded, pissed off.
A loud groan echoed from the glass cage. Jessica’s attention switched to the source of the noise. Lukas rushed over, Ivy joining in. “What was that?” Lukas questioned. The mist cleared up in the glass cage. It revealed Jesse, less purple veins on him, his eyes still blacked out with the slightest white dot in them, his mouth just being a dark red, his tentacles collapsing to the ground.
“I-IT HURTS!! E-EVERYTHING HURTS!!!” He cried in pain. Lukas approached the glass, setting his hand on it, shocked. “Jesse?” Lukas called out quietly. Jesse looked up, as surprised as Lukas was.
“L-Lukas?”
