I covered Ramin's eyes with my hands as I guided him into the kitchen.
His head was perked up at the sweet smell of pancakes, and he asked, "What did you do, my Angel?"
"Oh, nothing," I replied innocently. "Just a little gift for the best husband in the world."
Once we were close enough, I pulled my hands back and gave him permission to look.
He opened his eyes up, and an excited chuckle fell out of his mouth.
"Wow," he smiled. "You really decided to spoil me this morning."
"If I could spoil you every day, I would," I smirked. "You've done so much for me, and I figured it was time I repaid the favor."
Ramin turned to me and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"I do those things because I love you," he said softly. "I would cross an entire ocean to be with you."
His words brought tears to my eyes, and I distracted myself by hugging him tightly.
He wrapped his muscular arms around me and kissed my forehead again.
After a moment had passed, I pulled away from him and said, "You should eat your food before it gets cold."
"Good idea," Ramin chuckled. "I practically forgot."
I kissed his cheek and happily watched him as he ate.
"This is amazing!" he exclaimed with his mouth full.
I laughed at his reaction and patted his arm.
"That's always good to hear."
