I walked into Ramin's dressing room just as he finished a Skype meeting with one of his agents, and I knocked on the door to let him know I was there.

He spun around in his seat and grinned, making me feel slightly dizzy.

"Hello, my Angel."

"Hi," I shyly smiled back. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you."

"Not at all," he assured me. "Come right on in."

I closed the door behind me and draped my arms around his neck while pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"You've been so busy lately," I commented. "Are you getting enough rest?"

"Yes, Ave," Ramin replied patiently. "I know my boundaries when I'm performing."

"I'm aware of that," I nodded. "But it's also my job as your wife to make sure you're not pushing yourself too hard."

He stood up from his chair and turned to face me, melting my heart with his soft smile.

His strong arms came around my waist, and he cuddled me closer to his chest.

"And I appreciate your concern for my well-being," he said quietly. "But you need to trust me, too. I can take care of myself while I'm away from you."

I hesitantly swallowed my argument down and nodded, trying to be reasonable with Ramin.

He clearly saw the disagreement in my eyes, however, and chuckled good-naturedly.

"Bless you and your caring heart," he whispered while placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I love you."

I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder, not wanting to scold him any longer.

"You're very stubborn, but I love you, too."

He nuzzled his nose into my hair with a smile and held me against him tightly.
