I watched Ramin from the distance as he did one last rehearsal for his show, which would take place in a beautiful cathedral.
His voice echoed off of the walls with grace, and all the hairs on my body stood up on end.
How does he do it? I thought to myself with wonder. It's effortless for him.
As if to prove my point, Ramin belted out a high note that nearly knocked me backwards.
My breath instantly hitched at the sheer power of his voice, and I had to steady myself before I fell over.
Once I got my bearings, I clapped vigorously and said, "Bravo! That was amazing!"
He gave a polite little nod and smiled.
"Thank you, my Angel."
I blushed at the affectionate nickname, then walked towards the stage.
He hopped off and hugged me tightly as soon as I was within reach.
"Whoa," I chuckled. "Someone's clingy today."
Ramin rested his cheek on my head and kissed my hair sweetly.
"I always feel empty when you're not my arms," he murmured. "Your touch never fails to make me happy."
Can this man get any more precious? I thought with a smile.
Aloud, I said, "I'm always here if you need a hug, Ramin."
He squeezed me tighter with his muscular arms, and I patted his back to let him know that I couldn't breathe.
"Oh, sorry," he apologized while pulling away. "I got a bit carried away there."
"It's okay," I smiled, standing up on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek. "I love your bear hugs."
Ramin brushed a strand of hair out of my face and leaned our foreheads together.
"And I love your smile," he whispered, pressing a kiss to my nose.
The sensation tickled slightly, and it caused me to giggle childishly.
He quietly chuckled at my reaction and held me close to his chest with a smirk on his handsome face.
