Ramin and I stood together on the red carpet for the premiere of Anastasia, which he was starring in for its entire run on Broadway.
His eyes were sparkling with delight as the press took pictures of us, and I proudly grinned up at him.
"I'm so happy for you," I said, resting my chin on his shoulder. "It never fails to amaze me how multi-talented you are."
He looked down at me and smiled, kissing the top of my head sweetly.
"I wouldn't be here without you, my Angel," he murmured in my hair. "Having someone as positive as you around makes my life so much easier."
"Oh, stop," I blushed. "I have nothing to do with your success. That was all done by you and you alone."
"Maybe," Ramin shrugged. "But it'd be a lot harder if you weren't here at my side, Ave. I mean that."
His words touched my soul deeper than the deepest ocean on Earth, and my breath hitched involuntarily in my throat.
"I appreciate that," I whispered softly.
He rested his chin on the top of my head and hugged me into his side.
"It's the least I can give for your unconditional love," he said with a small smile. "I am truly grateful to have you in my life every day."
"I can say the same for you, my Phantom."
