Ramin was texting on his phone while I was warming up for my first workout routine.

I stretched my long limbs out and relaxed my muscles.

He had insisted that I dance with him so that I could get my mind off of the things that were stressing me out, and I had reluctantly agreed.

I wasn't out of shape, but I was extremely thin, so I didn't have a lot of muscle on me either.

Since he was willing to do it with me, even with his hectic schedule, there was no way I could refuse his offer, so I had accepted.

After I had done a few more stretches, I stood up straight and said, "I'm ready."

Ramin glanced at me and nodded with a smile.

"Alright," he clapped his hands together. "Let's do this."

As he stepped over, I couldn't help but stare at his arms.

There was no doubt that he was incredibly fit, which was vital for someone who was as busy as he was.

It was a demanding job being a Broadway actor, so I was thankful for his good health.

He caught me looking and smirked.

"Maybe you'll be this buff by the time we finish this routine."

I scoffed.

"That's not humanly possible for a woman."

Ramin shrugged.

"You never know. Things can happen."

"Right," I nodded, unconvinced.

I turned around and tied my hair up, but I became distracted when he wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him.

"I promise this is going to help you," he said in a gentle tone. "You'll see."

I stroked his arm with my hand and leaned back into him.

"I'm just glad you're here to help me with it."

"Of course," Ramin muttered, pressing a kiss on the side of my head. "It's my job to take care of you."

"I can take care of myself," I replied. "You shouldn't have to be doing all the work."

"I'm not," he said, turning me around to face him. "Don't feel like you're a burden, because you're not."

I smiled softly and placed my hand on his cheek.

"I appreciate your understanding."

He leaned into my palm and put his larger hand over mine.

"Any day, Ave."
