I was getting ready to leave for the day when I suddenly heard the door open behind me, and I glanced over my shoulder to see Ramin in full costume as Gleb Vaganov, his character in the Broadway version of Anastasia.
"Excuse me, miss?" he asked. "Have you seen a beautiful young woman with blue eyes and long, brown hair?"
I blushed at his playful tone and looked away.
We had recently begun to date after meeting a few months prior, and I was still trying to get used to the fact that my favorite Phantom was in love with me.
With a deep inhale, I said, "She probably left due to being exhausted from a long day."
Ramin chuckled to himself and hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Would she stay if I asked her to?" he whispered.
My neck heated up when he placed a light kiss on my jaw, and I shakily answered, "Maybe."
He pressed his nose against my cheek, which was a sign of affection from him, and I practically melted against his body.
"I'll take you home, my Angel," he said in a soft voice. "Just wait for me until the show is over."
I turned my head to glance at him, his face inches from mine.
"Will you be upset if I fall asleep in here?" I asked shyly.
"No, Ave," Ramin shook his head. "Get some rest if you need to. I understand."
My heart raced at his kindness, and I thanked him for his understanding.
Who knew the Phantom was so sweet?
