Lara can hardly believe her eyes, but her protective instinct kicks in, making her pick up the little three year old girl up and taking a step away from the door. She knew the reports of clones and other entities that took the likeness of members of the SGC, SG-1 in particular for some reason, and she isn't about to risk her daughter's life.

Reaching the little side table by the door, she takes the gun she always keeps in the drawer and points it at the man across from her, close to her waist so the little girl doesn't see it.

-"Who are you?"

-"Hi, Lara." - He looks between her and the little girl in her arms, smiling at her. -"I know this is unexpected but I needed to see you."

-"I'm gonna ask again. Who are you?" - Her voice is hard and unwavering, making him realize what she might be thinking.

-"It's really me, Lara."

-"That's impossible. You've been dead for three years. So you better tell me who the hell are you before I give you a couple extra holes."

Only then does Evan notices the gun, as well as how tightly Lara is holding the little girl close to her, tears welling up in his eyes at the realization.

-"You need to leave. Now!"

-"Mom, who's that?" - The little girl asks curious, looking back at him.

-"No one, bug."

Her eyes are hard on him, letting him know that if he makes one wrong move in her daughter's direction, he will be dead before he even hits the ground. He nods at her and lets out a shaky breath.

-"This was a bad idea. I'll leave."

Evan steps away from the door, but it isn't until he is at what Lara considers a safe distance, that she closes the door, placing the gun in her waistband and taking her daughter to her bedroom, letting her watch TV there while she calls Jack.

The phone rings twice before he answers and Lara wastes no time once she hears his voice.

-"We need to talk. Secure the line. Code blue."
