Evan and Lara sit on a bench at a park in San Francisco, watching Ava on the swings of the little playground. Lara looks back at Evan and thinks just how lucky she is to have the man she has loved with all her heart for all these years back with her and a daughter that is absolutely perfect.
-"You're okay?" - Evan looks back at her, smiling.
-"I am. I can't wait for everyone to meet Ava."
-"Well, there's no time like the present. They're here."
Evan stands up and reaches a hand towards her, Lara taking it and looking over to where he had been looking at a few moments before, seeing their friends walking over with smiles on their faces.
Sheppard, Elizabeth, Teyla, McKay, Jennifer and Ronon walk over to them, all happy to see them and greet them enthusiastically.
-"So, how have you two been?" - Sheppard smiles at them.
-"It has been an interesting year to say the least." - She chuckles. -"There's a lot to catch you up on, but right now there's someone we would like for all of you to meet."
Evan calls Ava over and the little girl comes running to him, Evan picking her up once she is close enough.
-"Everyone. This is Aveline, or Ava, our daughter. Ava, these are our friends."
Everyone looks shocked at them, but greets the little girl in Evan's arms, Ava waving at them with a bright smile.
-"Like I said, there's a lot to catch you up on."
