Where Are You?

Lara paces her bedroom. Two hours have passed and since news got out that Ava is missing, the SG-1 team started showing up at the house.

First was Sam, telling Jack that some video he had asked her to check was definitely tampered with, before asking what she can do to help, leaving for the back porch to make some calls after talking with her for a few minutes.

Then it was Daniel and Teal'c, coming over mostly for moral support than anything else, since they don't have the same connections Jack and Sam have. All they did was make sure Lara ate something or that her mug always had tea, both waiting and ready to leave as soon as a lead to where Ava might be appears.

Jack is still pacing the kitchen, Lara is certain that by the time this is over she will have to replace the floor in there, making calls to anyone he can think of and getting calls back from people he had called earlier, no one having answers for him, making him even grumpier than usual.

Meanwhile, Henry has left to talk to Ava's teachers, saying that they will be more willing to help him instead of some military looking person, especially considering that it was someone wearing an Airman uniform that took Ava.

In the middle of all of this, Lara is left not knowing what to do with herself. She sits on her bed, as she thinks back to her argument with Evan and hates herself for accusing him to be behind this.

She knows he would never do something like this, considering all they have been through together. Lara owes him an apology and she knows it. She will do it once Ava is back home, until then all she can really worry about is having her daughter back.

Lara thinks about Ava and how scared her little girl must be, tears beginning to fall. She wishes she knew where Ava is or if she is okay. She has to trust Jack will find Ava and bring her home, but it's hard to think positive when she knows the evils that exist in the world.

She wipes the tears from her face and stands up, smoothing her shirt and walking out of her room towards the living room. Lara knows she needs to stay strong for Ava and focus on finding her. The time to break down will come once Ava is safe and sound back home, and she is all alone.
