Lara lays in bed that night, unable to sleep, Henry sleeping soundly next to her. She thinks back to Ava's party earlier that day, and she has to admit that it had been a success with the kids, and how happy Ava had been to have Evan there. The way he took the time to play with all the kids made the whole thing a lot of fun for them.

However, that's not what is keeping her from sleep. Seeing Evan with Ava reminded her of all he has missed over the years. Yet, watching them together today, it was almost as if he had been there her whole life.

Lara knows that they love each other, it is clear in the way they talk and look at each other, and she couldn't be happier that her daughter is having the chance to get to know how much of an amazing man her father is.

She gets up silently, not wanting to wake Henry, and leaves the room, checking on Ava before making her way to the kitchen. Turning the electrical kettle on, she prepares a mug to make some tea, as she thinks that she had thought she was through with her feelings for Evan, but today has proven differently.

Lara hears the water boil and pours it on the mug over the tea bag, thinking that maybe it was just because of the way he was with Ava, something she had always wished her daughter had as she grew up, nothing more.

She picks up the mug and walks into the back porch, making herself comfortable on the couch, wondering if maybe this whole thing is just her imagination and all that's there is just a good friendship, nothing else.

Lara takes a sip of her tea, thinking that if she is being honest with herself, she never really forgot Evan and their relationship, no matter how hard she tried, and now with him being a part of her and Ava's lives, it gives her a glimpse of what they were supposed to have if it hadn't been for what happened to Evan.

She lets out a sigh, this feeling in her gut telling her that if she doesn't clear her head, things might just get really messy.
