5. Business trip to Spain

Akshita's pov

Last night, after the dinner Lucas left for his home but before leaving he told me to take a leave today. I disagreed and instead took a half day. It was Lucas who arranged a doctor's appointment for me.

"Ms. Rawat. You had an allergic reaction due to soy." The doctor spoke.

I looked at her and spoke,"Oh! I never knew i had one."

The doctor looked at me in shock and then spoke, "Oh! But next time onwards be careful. These allergic reactions can be pretty worse."

I nodded my head and said, "Thank you doctor for your time." And left the cabin.

I decide to take a walk to the company building instead of booking a taxi. It took me an hour or something to reach. I wiped off my sweat and entered the building. I greeted whoever passed by me.

I took the elevator. The door opened and i stepped outside walking towards the glass doors after greeting the guard as usual.

I punched in my id card and walked inside after the glass door opened. I saw Lucas sir standing near the printing machine.

I walked upto him and greeted him, "Good afternoon sir."

He looked at me and smiled, "Good afternoon. Now tell me, what did the doctor told?"

"Nothing serious, I am allergic to soy." I shrugged.

He looked shocked at the revelation and asked, "You didn't know it before? It have been 22 years of your life, idiot!"

"Areey! How would I know, I never ate anything containing soy."

"You never had Chinese?" I shook my head.

"Why didn't you tell it yesterday?"

"What would've happened if I told you?"

"We could've ordered something else."

"Areey! But we didn't had any idea of my allergy. Also, I wanted to taste chinses once."

"Uff! I will keep in my mind about your soy allergy." He muttered.

"I will get back to work." He nodded. I took seat at my desk and began working.

A few days later,

"Is it really necessary for me to come along?" I asked, looking at Lucas who was busy typing on his laptop.

"Yes."

"But-"

"It's my orders."

"Fine sir."

"Call me Lucas."

"Okay boss." I teased.

He looked at my face for a brief moment before he started walking towards me. I nervously stepped back, while he kept covering the distance.

Suddenly, my back hit a wall and I was trapped between his arms. His fresh minty breath, fanning my face. I took deep breathes to calm myself down.

"L..uc..as, what are y..ou d..oing." i stuttered. He gave me smirk.

"Stop calling me sir."

"I won't call you sir." He smiled and let me go. My face was flushed due to his antics.

"I will be coming, later." I yelled out and ran outside his cabin. I sat on my desk , fanning myself. Gosh! It was so hot.

I finally calmed myself down and began working.
