It had been a few weeks since I had started noticing small changes, an unfamiliar tiredness, cravings I couldn't control, and a little more tightness around my stomach. But today... as I stood in front of the mirror, I saw something I hadn't expected.

I placed my hand on my abdomen, and for the first time, I noticed it clearly. A small bump, barely noticeable to anyone else, but unmistakably there. My baby bump.

Four months in, and I was already starting to show. I hadn't realised how early it would come. Wasn't it too soon for this? I had heard that most women started showing later in their pregnancy, but here I was, feeling the first real sign of my little one growing inside me.

I smiled softly, my hand resting gently over the bump. It felt surreal, yet so incredibly real. A mixture of excitement and warmth filled me. I could already imagine Lucas's reaction when I told him. He'd be overjoyed. I just knew it.

"Lucas! Lucas! Come here quickly." I yelled in excitement.

Soon the closet door opened and i turned to look at Lucas who was gasping for breathes. I grew concerned and walked towards him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, cupping his cheeks.

"I should ask you, are you okay? Why did you shout for me?" He frantically spoke, and instead cupped my cheeks.

"I just noticed something special."

His brows furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"

I gently placed his hand on my lower abdomen. His eyes widened in shock as he felt the subtle curve. He looked at me in disbelief. "Is it... is it really showing now?"

I nodded, smiling as I watched his eyes fill with wonder. "It is," I confirmed, feeling the joy bubble up inside me.

"I can't believe it," Lucas whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He gently rubbed my belly, as if savoring the moment. "We're going to be parents."

I wrapped my arms around him, leaning into his warmth. "It's real now," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper. "We're having a baby."

"I am so excited for his/her arrival." He mummered. I smiled and leaned against him, we stayed in the silence, his warmth surrounding me.

Over a month had passed, and I had entered my fifth month of pregnancy. The morning sickness had finally eased, but now my mood swings seemed to be on a constant rise. One minute, I was filled with joy, and the next, I could be overwhelmed with tears or frustration.

It was like riding an emotional rollercoaster, and Lucas had learned to hold on tight. Even advika is careful around me, I feel bad to make her feel that way but it's just not in my control sometimes.

"Advika." I heard his stern yell from the living room.

As I made my way to the living room, I heard Lucas speaking in a calm but serious tone. "Advika, I know you're excited, but you need to listen when we say something is not safe."
