We had our breakfast after placing the cupcakes in the fridge. Matteo Uncle came back during lunch and gave a bouquet of flowers to aunt. I smiled looking at their cute love.
I was startled when he passed me a bouquet of pink tulips. I asked him confused,"For Me?"
"Yes, for my dear daughter." Uncle replied, smiling.
"Aww! Thank you so much uncle." I smiled at him gratefully.
"No problem dear, my cute daughter deserves flowers too."
"Hehe!" I giggled softly. Matteo uncle took me in a hug, I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. His embrace feels like my father's.
I felt my eyes welling up. I tried to stop my tears but I couldn't and a sob escaped my lips. Uncle quickly pulled away and cupped my face softly.
"What's wrong child? Why is my daughter crying?"
"Sorry, I remembered about my dad."
"Oh dear! It's okay." He softly patted my back and completely pulled away. "Remember, we are your parents okay? Since you will be becoming our daughter-in-law in the future." I softly giggled and nodded my head.
"Is the Father-daughter love over, can this poor mom also get some love?" Aunt spoke dramatically. I laughed and pulled her to hug me. We had a small family hug and went to have lunch.
After lunch both of them went on date since uncle had planned a date for her. I sat in the living room mindlessly scrolling on my phone when the door bell rang.
Who would have came now?
I opened the door and smiled widely looking at Lucas. I excitedly jumped in his arms as he caught me and twirled us around.
"I missed you." I said hugging him tightly as he placed me down on my feet.
"Me too, corazón." He muttered, burying his face in the crook of my neck.
"How come you are so early?"
"I lied to you yesterday, the signing happened in the evening, so I took a flight last night."
"Oh!"
We kept hugging each other at the door for I don't know how long but we pulled away. I invited him inside.
"Where's mom and dad?"
"On a date." I grinned and told him everything.
"So, my corazón got her favourite flowers? I got you flowers too."
I smiled as he gave me a bouquet of red roses. I love them too. I hugged him tightly and kissed his check.
"That's not how you kiss sweetheart." He muttered, slamming his lips on mine. We ate each other's lips until I felt out of breath. I tapped on his shoulder, understanding me he quickly pulled away and we chuckled.
