17. Indian clients

Normal sunny day, here in New York. I was walking on the footpath, with a smile on my face excited for work. It's been 2 months since my birthday.

Time surely flies.

The Rathores had to cancel their meeting abruptly due to some issues and we rescheduled it. The meeting is tomorrow.

I carefully crossed the road and greeted the security at the office entrance. They smiled at me. I walked up to my floor, greeted the guard, punched in my id and walked inside. I have been helping Lucas with the presentation for tomorrow since the last 2 days. We are done and all set for the meeting.

"Akshita, the Indian clients have landed today, have you made sure about their stay and other arrangements?" Lucas asked me as soon as I entered his cabin.

"Yes, it's all set. I have booked the hotel for their stay. I booked a family suite, since Mr. Rathore travelled with his family.

"Really? His family has come along?" I nodded my head, confused why he became so excited.

"Yes, but why are you so excited?"

"I am excited to meet their son, last time I met him, he was 5 months old. Now, he must be 7-8 months old."

"Baby? Mr. Rathore has a baby?"

"Yes, a cute one. He loves me."

"Oh please! Stop lying. It can't be." I muttered. A baby, will like him?

"It is, he loves me. His name is shivansh."

"It's a cute name."

"Yes, I will be calling rudransh now." He muttered. I nodded my head.

"Hello."

"...."

"That's great to know. Hope you had a safe journey."

"....."

"Cool, I am eager to meet your son. I heard you bought him along."

"...."

"Oh! Good. I will visit you in the evening to meet him then. Bye, take care."

"What were you speaking with him?"

"I am going to visit them in the evening. Join me."

"What? Me?"

"Yes baby."

"You love kids, you will love shivansh too. So, come along."
