Lucas's pov

At night, I was sitting on the bed reading some emails on my laptop when akshita entered the room with a smile.

"Hi!'" I smiled at her.

"Hi, sweetheart." I mumbled.

"I will change and come soon." She said and ran to get changed. I chuckled at her adorable running.

A few minutes later, she came back and sat on the bed beside me.

"We should sleep, we need to leave early tomorrow." She told me and took my laptop away from me.

"But i was reading and answering emails."

"Do it, in the plane okay?" I pouted but nodded my head.

"Okay." She smiled and placed the laptop on the nightstand and lay down. I pulled her on myself and soon we found ourselves in a deep slumber.

The next day, we boarded our flight at around 5 am in the morning and reached India at 3:30 pm. We all were going to stay at rudra's house. It was big and had 2 floors. Asher and his girlfriend and my parents will join us tomorrow.

"Okay, so we don't have enough time to rest. Lucas and Arjun, come with me to my home office, we should discuss the venue and book a place for us to live as well." Rudra spoke. I nodded.

"I will look into the decorators and other arrangements. Remember, we will have to do everything quickly. We have only a few days left. We need to go shopping for clothes and decide the themes for every functions." Shivi muttered and I nodded my head acknowledging her.

"Okay. Everything is sorted?"

"Guest list?" Akshita uttered.

"Yeah, we will make it. Since it's going to be media coverage. I have announced to the world of our marriage." I muttered and akshita looked at me.

"When?" Arjun asked.

"Last night." I muttered. I showed them by social media handle where i posted a cryptic post about my marriage.

"Oh! So we are going to have your business associates and everyone too?" Akshita asked.

"Yes baby, are you comfortable with it?"

"No, maybe let's do it a private affair please?"

"Okay baby, whatever you want. We can call some of your colleagues and some people?"

"Yes sure, that will be nice."

"Alright, then," I said with a smile. "We'll keep it intimate, just close family and friends."

Rudra nodded. "Great. I'll update the guest list accordingly and make sure we have everything under control. Let's get moving with the other arrangements."

Shivi di added, "I'll start looking into the decorators and the theme. Do you both have any specific ideas in mind for the sangeet and mehendi?

Akshita thought for a moment and then replied, "I was thinking something with stars, fairy lights, not something over the top. And for the mehendi, maybe something more traditional-floral decorations and soft colours."

"That sounds perfect!" Shivi grinned.

"We can make that happen. I'll talk to a few decorators I know."

"And for the haldi," Akshita continued, "we should keep it simple but elegant-lots of yellow and white, with a small setup on the beach."

"Absolutely," I agreed.
