6. Meeting his parents

Lucas's pov

I am so excited to meet my parents. It's been more than a year since I went to visit them. Mom is going to be angry and even act upset but I know how to convince her.

I wanted akshita to join because I want to make them meet her. I am sure both of them are going to love her. Ofcourse who can't love her? She is sweet, innocent and angelic.

"Sir, we reached."

"Thank you max for the service. We would be staying here tonight." He nodded and opened the door for me. I stopped him from opening the door for akshita and did it myself.

"Thank you." She muttered. I gave her a small smile. We walked towards the door together. She looked nervous.

"Relax Corazón, they are not going to eat you."

"I feel nervous around new people." She muttered shyly.

"I know that but, still, i am here. You know me, right? So, no worries." She slightly nodded her head.

I rang the doorbell. The door was opened by one of the maid. She let us enter inside.

"Where's mom and dad?" I asked the maid.

"They are in their room." I nodded and held akshita's hand pulling her with me.

I stood outside their bedroom bubbling with joy. Gosh! I could finally meet them. I knocked on their door and waited for someone to open it.

The door opened revealing mom. I beamed in joy and hugged her tightly. I could feel her crying. I softly rubbed her back trying to calm her down. We pulled away from the hug after crying our heart out. Well, I do cry too sometimes.

"Hey mom, it's fine. Calm down." I softly whispered, wiping away her tears.

"Took you so long to come and meet your old mom." She replied with sarcasm and turned her face away from me.

"Sorry mom, you know i got caught up in work."

"Yeah, your work is important. Not your mom." She whinned. I smiled and pulled her cheeks.

"Aww! my lovely mom, I love you and you are more important to me than my work." She finally gave away a smile. I kissed on her forehead.

"What about my kiss?" I asked. She smiled and kissed me on my cheeks.

"Where's dad?"

"In the shower. I will tell you son, this dad of your is literally in the shower since an hour." I smiled at her complaining.

Gosh! I missed my mom so much. She pulled me with her in the room. I was about to close the door, when I remembered akshita.

Oh shit! Where is she?

I stepped out of the room to search for her. I saw her standing near the staircase, her back towards me. I walked towards her and gently placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, why are you standing here ?" She abruptly took a step forward startled, almost falling but I caught hold of her waist. This girl, and her clumsiness is going to kill me one day.

"God! Corazón. You could've fell." I exclaimed in a stern yet worried tone.

"Sorry." She mummered softly. Her voice, it seems strange, as if she was crying.

"Are you crying?" I asked, turning her around to face me.

"No, no, no." She violently shook her head. I held her head with both of my palms, stopping her movement. She is seriously going to hurt herself.
