"Chu Mu is a good person. He has attracted the attention of so many evil spirits." Shen Ran leaned against the second floor. He bandaged his wound leisurely. He could hear Chu Mu's voice downstairs. He curled his lips and said, "I was right. This place is the best place to repair souls. Although it cannot be completely repaired, it can at least be used in an emergency."

With the ghostly aura here, Shen Ran laid a net of heaven and earth, and controlled many evil ghosts from this house at once. These evil ghosts were all ferocious and should have been extremely difficult to subdue. However, when Chu Mu's sword pierced into the bottom, these evil ghosts temporarily relaxed their vigilance against Shen Ran.

He raised his hand and bit a corner of the gauze gently, bandaging the wound on his hand tightly. He sighed softly and said, "Don't blame me. I have no choice."

If he wants to complete the mission, he can't die and must find a way to survive.

【999: Chu Mu is injured. 】

In fact, even without 999's reminder, Shen Ran could smell a hint of other blood in the air, and he guessed whose blood it was without having to think too much.

"Five more minutes." Shen Ran touched the ground and whispered, "Hold on for another five minutes."

The net he had set was about to be closed. As long as he could hold on for another five minutes, he would be able to control the evil spirits in the house. Although this was beneficial, it also consumed a lot of his energy. Shen Ran's lips turned pale at a speed visible to the naked eye, and even his breathing became heavier.

But he can't give up. If he wants to live longer, he has to endure the pain he is experiencing now.

These five minutes were extremely difficult for Chu Mu. He was harassed by these ghosts and was anxious to find Shen Ran. He was scratched by the evil ghosts several times, but fortunately the injuries were not serious.

The dark clouds in the sky that had blocked the moonlight began to slowly move away, and the moonlight shone in through the window again, but this time it shone on the second floor.

Chu Mu originally wanted to find a place to hide, but when he looked up, he saw a familiar person leaning against the second floor. Chu Mu's pupils suddenly contracted, and he subconsciously shouted, "Shen Ran!"

Hearing the sound, Shen Ran paused for a moment. The evil spirits that were originally restrained also became irritable. He swallowed a mouthful of blood that he almost vomited, and forced himself to control them again.

But in Chu Mu's eyes, Shen Ran's subtle movement was an absolute deception. He dropped the talisman in his hand, supported himself on the handrail with one hand, climbed up the stairs, and his sword brushed Shen Ran's neck and pierced into the wall.

"You lied to me again." Chu Mu's voice was low and full of anger. He gritted his teeth and said, "Shen Ran, you really are a vicious person who never changes."

"3-2-1." The last sound rang in Shen Ran's mind. He clenched his fingers. The evil spirits that were trapped and were attacking the shackles not far away seemed to be cast into a spell and stopped moving. Shen Ran moved his fingers. After finishing all this, he smiled and said, "What do you mean?"

"Every time you pretend to be injured, isn't it because you are sure that I will save you? Every time... you are taking advantage of my feelings for you." Chu Mu's hand clenched the hilt of the sword, and Shen Ran could even hear the sound of his hand bones. "Why did you lie to me?"

"I didn't mean to lie to you." Shen Ran sighed, spread his hands, and said helplessly, "I didn't know you would follow me in. You hate me so much, shouldn't you be hoping that I would die here? How could I have planned this against you?"
