Akala niya, when he was a kid, he was going to marry a very beautiful woman and have children—he used to dream of having a happy and ideal family. He promised himself na hindi niya paiiyakin ang babaeng mamahalin niya, hindi kagaya ng laging pag-iyak ng kaniyang mommy dahil sa tatay niya.
That goal was etched deeply in his heart.
But as he looked at Sebastian, with the city lights reflecting on his serious face while he drove, something snapped in his brain.
He felt feverish, and a strange, ticklish sensation began to build inside him because of this man's presence.
He took a deep breath and rested his head against the backrest of the passenger seat. The scent of Sebastian's body, filling the car, was soothing—yet at the same time, it made him feel like he couldn't breathe. Para bang kinikilig siya but at the same time the strong emotion brings inexplicable fear to his system.
It's weird na makaramdam ng ganito sa kapwa niyang lalaki. All his life, he thought he was straight. Kahit noong nag-undergo siya ng puberty, he never had any doubts about his gender identity. He was curious once in a while but never did he really get attracted to a guy before. This is a first.
But maybe life has a lot more to offer...
He couldn't help but smile.
They stopped at the Diamond Hotel, and just by looking at the exterior, it was clear how luxurious the place was.
Sebastian unbuckled his seatbelt and looked at him. "You coming?"
Still dumbfounded, he simply nodded and removed his seatbelt as well.
Sebastian handed his car keys to the valet who approached them, then walked towards the elevator. Tahimik lang siyang sumunod.
He thought Sebastian wasn't interested in him. Pero anong gagawin nila sa isang hotel?
The hotel exuded grandeur and elegance, and his palms began to sweat as he felt out of place.
"What are we going to do here?" his voice echoed in the silence of the elevator.
"We're going to have fun," sagot ni Sebastian, pressing an unnumbered button labeled "P" on the elevator. His eyes widened. Did "P" mean Penthouse?
Pero ano daw? They're going to have fun?
Fun with what?
Are they going to do something dirty?
His eyes widened further, and he hugged himself. But then he shook his head at the thought. Of course not, they wouldn't do that. Sebastian wasn't even into him—plus, he wasn't prepared for that kind of thing. Diba masakit daw yun?
He glanced at Sebastian, who was just staring seriously ahead.
When the elevator dinged and opened, Sebastian stepped out, and he followed. They were greeted by what looked like the Penthouse.
It occupied the entire floor and even had a second level. A massive chandelier hung above the living room, and a glass staircase led to the upper floor. The entire suite was surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and there was a swimming pool facing the bustling city outside. Wow.
Pero may hindi magandang tanawin. Anong ginagawa nito dito? He should've known na laging may nakabuntot kay Sebastian na asungot—at hindi siya yun.
Sitting nonchalantly in the living room was Craig, Sebastian's friend. Craig was the guy he had a run-in with at the club during the argument between Mico and Atlas. If he remembered correctly.
Without an invite, he sat on the sofa opposite Craig, while Sebastian headed straight to the kitchen.
His brow furrowed as he noticed Craig's face. His left eye was bruised, and there were cuts on his lips and cheekbones. His neck was red, like someone had strangled him.
