CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Amory's chest started to throb at the sight of the man he was thinking about nonstop for a week.

"Oh Seb, what up bro." Nakiappear dito si Craig while Amory stayed frozen on his seat. "Buti maaga kang nakauwi?"

"Had to. I have an unfinished business here in the Philippines." Sebastian's eyes bore into Amory who is still silent. Umupo ito sa katapat ng inuupuan niya.

Craig and Amory were hanging out under the mango tree on the business ad building that was their usual hangout spot bago dumating si Sebastian.

"Who are you calling baby?" Nakataas ang kilay na tanong niya mayamaya. Shit. Ang bading lang pero parang gusto niyang endearment yun.

"Pssh, kunwari pa gustong gusto naman." Craig whispered under his breath pero rinig na rinig naman nila. Tiningnan niya ito ng masama at magaang sinapak sa batok.

Amory saw how Sebastian has this amused grin on his face while looking at him. Tuwang-tuwa talaga ito kapag nagmumukha siyang patay na patay dito. Well its true naman.

"Rain agreed to talk to you if you still want to talk to him. Just tell me when para masabi ko sa kaniya."

Tumango naman si Sebastian and handed him a box mula sa laptop bag nito. Kumunot ang noo ni Amory dahil sa velvet box palang alam niyang maaaring alahas yun.

"For me?" He asked kahit nakalapag na iyon sa harap niya dahil hindi niya agad inabot. He cautiously opened the box and was astonished because inside it was a really nice and intricate looking bracelet.

"My Mom and I visited a nice jewelry store in Paris, and they customize something like this I thought might as well buy you one." Amory felt deeply shock because first, Sebastian thought of him while he was abroad. Second, he bought him a gift. Third, kinikilig siya, he himself haven't bought anything for Seb yet pero ito binigyan siya ng bracelet at galling Paris pa. He was genuinely moved by this gesture pero hindi niya masyadong ipinakita ang kilig. Baka isipin easy siya.

"Wow. Thanks this must be expensive; this is unexpected but it sure feels nice to receive a pasalubong." Amory's voice is laced with astonishment he can't help but smile. Grabe. He is down bad for this man and he just gifted him something really valuable. This feels heavenly nice.

It was a silver chain bracelet with a silver plate charm with something engraved on it. The chain bracelet was embellished with tiny Swarovski crystal and the plate has something with his name on it. It was simple but really expensive looking.

Can he buy a house with this? Amory silently laughed inside his head dahil sa birong naisip. He is just kidding because he will surely keep and care for this thing his entire life.

"What does this say?" Tanong ni Amory kay Sebastian dahil hindi niya maintindihan ang nandoon sa plate ng bracelet. The thing engraved on it says 'Amory est à moi'.

Nakiusyoso naman ang katabi niyang si Craig na kanina pa tahimik ang nagmamasid lang sa kanila ng kaibigan nito, para itong nabulunan nang makita ang mga nakasulat duong letra bago tumawa at napailing.

"What does it say?" Pero hindi ito sumagot, instead he looked at Sebastian at nang-aasar na tumawa rito.

"Posas ata itong dala mo at hindi bracelet bro. What? Amory est à moi? Shit. Corny." Sebastian smiled unbothered by it.

"Ano nga? para naman tong mga gago eh, sige igogoogle translate ko nalang." Kinuha niya ang phone sa bulsa at isesearch sana pero bumungad ang tawag mula kay Soleil. Agad niya naman iyong sinagot dahil may usapan silang magkikita ngayong araw.
