Author's Note: This specific chapter focuses on Seb's side of the story. My initial plan before was just to leave the epilogue as an open ending but then my guilty conscience wouldn't let me be in peace for hurting you guys. So I decided to expand the ending into few more special chapters.
Now the question here is that, will Amory finally get the happy ending he deserves?

--------------------------
Growing up, Sebastian never experienced the kind of love people call unconditional.
There were always set of conditions before people around him can show that he somewhat value to them.
He remembered how when he was a just a small child, he needed to be the perfect and one of a kind kid, he needed to excel in everything he does even in his playtime. There was no room for mistake or errors. It might be rooted to the fact that in their family, he was the youngest child and was always trailing the shadows of his excellent older siblings.
Sebastian's mom Amanda met Mikhael Vincent Astor when his father was still freshly divorced to his first wife. Then he got Amanda pregnant but he refused to remarry up until now, and because of this very reason Amanda has this anxiety and paranoia that one day, his dad will have a reason to abandon them.
Sebastian is legally an Astor even though his parents are not married and he has just civil enough relationship with his two older siblings. They were not intimately close or have the tight bond with one another like other siblings out there but his older siblings had never shown disdain or spite towards him. So he guess he is still a brother to them.
When he finally came of age, his mom kept reminding him not to make unnecessary mistakes because there were always people watching his every move. "Never stain the surname Astor, Sebastian. Don't bring shame to the family." That was the very line his mom repeated to him over and over.
How can this mother put heavy burden to her own child?
He justified his mom's action by thinking that every single effort was made for him so that he could be the best version of himself at all times, ensuring that his relatives would not treat him differently and that his dad would not abandon him. So that, people can actually love him...
He needed to excel in academics and sports. He needed to look presentable everyday and always have the right etiquette and manners wherever he go.
Sebastian loved his mom so much. He never wanted to disappoint her and also wanted no one to see him as insufficient or lacking. However, being controlled like this throughout his life made him feel like he needed to escape his mother's suffocating grasp and breathe fresh air.
That was the reason why Sebastian asked his father if he could study in the Philippines, his mom's home country. It was not an easy request, but he eventually got what he wanted, though it came with a few strict conditions.
Finally, he studied in the Philippines with his friends. His life here was no different from his extravagant life abroad. He lived the way he wanted, but the burden of being an Astor was heavy, especially when surrounded by people who held the surname in high regard.
Sebastian thought the void in his heart would be filled if he were surrounded by people who thought highly of him. But it was as if his heart was still searching for something...
One night at a bar, he met a sweet-looking boy who was charming and warmly attentive. Despite the boy's beautiful appearance, Sebastian found it hard to trust him because his gaze was filled with an air of obscurity. There was always a mischievous glint in his eyes, which made Seb remain guarded around him.
