Chapter Twenty-two

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

While on the elevator Amory dialed Soleil number para ikansela nalang ang pagkikita nila dahil mukhang hindi siya makakaalis ngayon. He decided to call her because sobrang impolite naman kung itetext niya lang ito when he is the one who asked for her time.

When the girl answered from the other line agad na humingi si Amory ng paumanhin dito. "Sobrang sorry talaga Leil, meron lang talagang nangyaring wala sa plano ngayong araw and kailangan ko munang harapin." Sinulyapan niya si Sebastian at pinaningkitan ito ng mga mata dahil ito ang tinutukoy niya. Sebastian was staring back at him while leisurely leaning against the elevator wall.

"Too bad, miss pa naman na kita at excited akong Makita ka after a long time. Hindi mo ba ako namimiss?" Amory can't help but laugh at what Soleil said dahil alam niyang nagbibiro lang ito. He didn't answer the girl's question dahil andito ang boss sa gilid niya at baka masakal siya bigla. Sa pagtawa niya palang sa sinabi ng babae sinaman agad siya ng tingin ni Sebastian.

"Ano nga di mo ako miss?" Tanong ulit ni Soleil dahil tumawa lang siya at hindi sumagot sa unang tanong nito. Amory awkwardly look at Sebastian and then back to his front dahil hindi siya makasagot. Balak ba siyang ipahamak ng babaeng to?

"Thank you so much for understanding Leil, I will see you very soon para makabawi." He heard the other line laugh dahil sa pag-iiba niya ng topic.

"Are you in a relationship right now, Amory? Why are you so guarded?" Tawa ulit ng dalaga sa kabilang linya.

"No I'm not...in a relationship." He glanced at Sebastian again at nakagat niya ang pang-ibabang labi nang mukhang naoffend ito at nilayo ang tingin sa kaniya.

What does this man want? He was the one who decided for their set-up to be like this tapos magagalit ito. Gusto ata nito bakuran siya kahit walang label, para bang exclusive toy for Sebastian only. Nainis na naman si Amory sa naisip.

"I gotta go Liel, thank you for making time and I'm sorry na din." Pinatay na niya ang tawag nang makapasok na sa Penthouse and after the girl had said her bye also.

Hinubad ni Sebastian ang suot na jacket at sapatos, he then sat down the high stool on the kitchen counter. Sumunod naman siya sa ginawa nito at umupo sa tabi nito but wrong move because Sebastian wrapped his arms around Amory's waist to draw him near while placing a kiss on his lips.

Pinilit ni Amory na lumayo mula rito pero just a few failed attempts, nadarang na din siya sa gusto nitong gawin.

Sebastian hoisted Amory by his butt cheeks to let him sit on his lap habang patuloy ang mga itong naghahalikan.

The kiss went down Amory's neck, and Seb's hands went roaming at the small of Amory's back, tracing the skin there, mayamaya napaigik si Amory nang malakas nitong pisilin ang bewang niya at nangigigil na kinagat ang kaniyang pang-ibabang labi.

"Ouch." Itinulak niya ito sa dibdib palayo sa kaniya while still sitting on his lap on the high chair. Hinaplos niya ang nasaktang labi at beywang at tiningnan ito ng masama. Amory was about to go down but Sebastian held him by the waist to make him stay on his place.

Kahit anong galaw niya hindi siya makawala dahil mas malakas ito sa kaniya. The heck sayang six packs at biceps niya kung naaapi lang siya ng ganito.

Sebastian hugAmory and rested his head on the right corner of his neck. Ramdam na ramdam ng binata ang paghinga nito. Nakikiliting ipinilig niya ang ulo dahil nakikiliti siya rito pero hinigpitan lang ni Sebastian ang yakap sa kaniya at mas inilapit ang ulo nito sa leeg niya, almost kissing his neck.

"Why do I feel like you're drifting away?" Sebastian asked in a small voice. Amory was shocked at what he said at tinry niyang makita ang mukha nito pero mas itinago nito ang mukha sa leeg niya.

"What do you mean I'm drifting away? I'm not...you're the one who's guarded, ayaw mong mag-open-up." Amory said softly, it was a shock to him na iniisip nitong lumalayo na siya dahil hindi iyon totoo.

Even when he was thorn with his emotions dahil sa nangyari kay Rain at sa involvement nito, he reflected about his decisions when it comes to this man. Sabi niya pa nga sa sarili niya hindi na siya magpapauto rito. Pero isang kita lang, isang yakag mula rito at andito na naman siya nakaupo sa kanlungan nito. How is that drifting away?

"I'm not guarded, if I were, do you think I'll let you hang around me when I knew you are going to be a danger to me the first time I saw you." Amory's heart flattered, baka tama nga si Bettina, Seb just doesn't know how to communicate his feelings.

"Then do you like me Sebastian?" He asked but with no reply from him. Napapailing na bumuntong hininga nalang si Amory.

"See? That's what being 'guarded' is about."

Maybe Sebastian needs more time...

He saw how Sebastian look like a wounded puppy, mukhang ayaw nitong madisappoint siya. So to comfort him Amory hugged him from the back and kiss him on the check and whispered. "Take your time. I won't leave."

It was a promise Amory knows he might not keep but he wants to give it his best.

When their drama was over they talk about Rain's situation over pizza and beer. Sebastian background checked Alex's family history at marami daw talagang bahong itinatago ang pamilya nito. Sebastian then told him to keep himself farther from the problem as possible because he doesn't want to put him in danger.

Dapat si Rain lang daw ang involve rito because the smaller people involve, the stronger protection he can provide. Amory agreed and promised not to do something stupid and rash.

They had a really good time together and it was the best talk they had with each other so far. Amory hopes that everything can settle down para makafocus na siya sa lovelife niya. Di joke lang.
