Chapter Thirty-six

Instead of taking a flight to go to the province Amory and Sebastian decided for a road trip.

Their house in the province is an ancestral house at doon din nakatira ang kaniyang grandparents. That's why Amory was genuinely nervous all throughout the whole trip.

More than his parents, mas kinakabahan siya sa sasabihin ng kaniyang lolo at lola. They were the ones who raised him because even though he was an only child, nakalakihan niyang busy ang mga magulang.

His dad is the current mayor of the town but way before,  he really spent his whole life helping those in need, sumasama rin sa mga lakad nito ang kaniyang mommy.

And there were also those times when his dad was caught cheating  talagang nawawala sa ulirat ang mommy niya at halos mapabayaan na siya nito. At ang takbuhan niya ay ang kaniyang lolo at lola.

Amory's grandparents have no idea about him liking a guy yet, dahil hindi niya pa nasasabi sa mga ito. And he grew up really athletic and manly kaya this news might come as a shock to them.

“Aren't you nervous? This is like the coming out phase for the both of us.” He asked Sebastian while the latter was just quietly driving.

Ikinibit nito ang balikat and flashed an assuring smile at him.

“We should have taken a flight instead of traveling long miles like this.” Amory voiced out again.

“I want to spend more time with just you, baka ipabugbog ako ng daddy mo doon sa inyo.” Sebastian gave a small chuckle at his own joke and Amory couldn't help but smile. What a cutie.

“Baka nga, goodluck brother.” Amory joked and changed his smiley face into serious face just for the sake of pranking Seb.

Instead of answering, from the break handle Sebastian's hand went to his thighs to slightly caressed it while the other was still on the steering wheel. Tinanggal niya iyon mula sa pagkakapatong sa hita niya at tiningnan ito ng masama.

“Gago baka trip to heaven ang puntahan natin sa kalandian mo lang.” Natatawa namang inalis nito ang kamay.

“How many ex's did you have?” Amory lightly questioned after a short quiet moment. Sobrang tahimik kasi.

Sebastian straight up answered to his question. “None. You're my first.” Hindi naniwalang tinitigan ito ni Amory and Seb chuckled when he  saw his reaction through his peripheral vision. “I promised, you are really the only one.” He said in a laughing defensive tone.

“Then, how about hook-ups?” Hindi parin tinigilan ni Amory ang pagtatanong.

“Do you count that? Basta more than five.” Hinampas ito ni Amory sa braso.

“Sabi ko na nga ba ang landi mo talaga.” Amory crossed his arms to show that he was sulking.

“Why are you even asking kung magagalit ka lang?” Amory glared at him nahahawa na siya sa pagiging unreasonable nito.

They decided to eat at a nearby stop, and bumili rin sila ng snacks.

They were telling each other stories about themselves during the long ride and really made use of the trip to know each other better, though Amory was the one who was mostly talking between them. The past months that they were together they were more into sexual benefits than serious commitment towards the relationship so this was a good chance for the both of them.

Sinusubuan niya ito ng snacks while he was driving. Sebastian was actually a good listener while siya naman ang madaldal at matanong sa kanilang dalawa.

After six hours of driving fatigue was becoming evident on Sebastian face,  that was why Amory presented himself to drive. But instead of letting him, inginuso nito ang labi asking for a kiss.
