CHAPTER FIFTEEN
Amory thought that Rain was fine. He was always laughing when he hangs out with them. He was the same nice old Rain. But what is this situation now?
When they arrived at the hospital, Mico, Ismael, Josh, and Julia were there. Wala daw duon ang mga magulang ng kaibigan dahil ang Mama ni Rain ay nakaout of town para sa isang school press conference at ang Papa nito ay naka out of town rin para naman sa isang seminar. His mother is a teacher habang ang tatay nito ay nagtatrabaho sa tatay ni Donatello bilang secretary. And naroroon lang ay ang nakababatang kapatid nitong babae na nasa highschool palang, her name is Summer.
As soon as he stepped on the floor of the emergency room while Rain was being revive by the nurses and doctor there, ang una niyang ginawa ay ang yakapin si Summer. The girl's face was full of worry and she looks so scared. He was whispering comforting words to her even though hindi niya alam kung anong mangyayari sa hinaharap.
He just prays and hope that everything will be okay.
And thank goodness because the doctor said that Rain is back but he will undergo intensive observation dahil dalawang beses huminto ang heartbeat nito.
When he heard the news, mahigpit niyang niyakap si Summer. Lumapit rin si Mico para yumakap kaya sumunod rin ang ibang kaibigan niya para yakapin sila ni Summer. They were locked in a grouphug.
Maybe because of the tension earlier at ang pagod niya sa buong araw dahil sa practice at pagkaclub ay parang naramdaman niya ang paggaan ng ulo at ang panghihina ng tuhod. He was feeling dizzy all of the sudden.
"Ku...kuyaa!" Naramdaman ata ni Summer ang pagbigat ng katawan niya sa pagkakayakap niya dito kaya medyo nagpanic ito. He knows he is not going to lose consciousness but he feels really weak at this very moment.
Humiwalay naman sa yakap ang mga kaibigan niya.
"Gago Amory, okay ka lang?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Ismael at inalalayan siya paupo.
He breathed a deep breath at ipinikit ang mga mata to rest for a moment.
When he opened his eyes, ang seryosong mukha ni Sebastian ang bumungad sa kaniya dahil nakasquat ito sa harapan niya.
Sebastian then patted his head gently. "You good?"
Agad naman siyang tumango. "Yeah."
"You better not exert yourself too much. If you feel exhausted might as well rest for now. I already called a family acquaintance here." Anito and in an instant ay may lumapit sa kanilang doctor. Bumati ito kay Sebastian na tinanguan lang ng huli.
"No need to worry about your friend. I assure that he will be taken good care here." Sebastian straightened his stand at tumingin sa middle-aged doctor na kararating lang. "Right?"
Tumango naman ang doctor. "Well assured Mr.Astor, and Mr?"
"A...Amory po."
"Mr. Amory, let's go to the bed to check you up." May mga lumapit rin sa kanilang mga nurse para tulungan siyang lumipat sa hospital bed.
"Okay lang po ako." Naiilang na sabi niya pero parang mga walang narinig ang mga ito. Sebastian walk beside his bed at hinawakan siya nito sa ulo.
"I gotta go." Sabi nito at iminuwestra ang cellphone nitong may tumatawag. He nodded in agreement and muttered his thanks.
"Salamat ha."
"No prob." Sebastian lowered his head to kiss his forehead. Napangiti siya sa gesture nito, grabe nakakabading talaga ang lalaking ito.
Nang makaalis na si Sebastian saka naman nagsilapitan ang mga kaibigan niya.
"WHAT WAS THAT?" tanong ni Ron.
