Duos

When the girl with the blue-green hair and the scorpion "tail" showed up to the games, she almost instantly took a liking to you....or not. Nobody could really tell. She was playful, using you as bait one second and then apologizing soon after and saying how she hoped it didn't get in the way of becoming friends with her🥺. Not that you ever agreed to be her friend or anything, but whatever. Whenever she pulled some stunts, she'd try to make up for it by using her access to the void to snag you the supplies you needed, but it made you wonder if she really felt bad or just found it jocular to mess with you. She was very hard and confusing to read, a little bit disturbed but at least, at the very least she was a team player, even if she was a bit waggish.

Falling asleep

After a match, she has you follow her for some reason. You wanted to make a joke about her secretly planning on killing you, but you can't-pulling an all-nighter, then taking on and off naps throughout the day followed by a grueling, hour and a half match was catching up to you. As if predicting your fall, the end of her tail pinches the back of your clothes to keep you from hitting the ground. She then takes you someplace quiet and watches you sleep.

Spider

She's observed that the spiders from Storm Point and the spiders from the Revenant universe absolutely creep you the fuck out. So instead of killing it right away, she'll grab it with her tail and dangle it in front of your face when you least expect it and gets a kick out of it.

Is she jealous?

I like to think that she has some kind of odd attachment to you. Maybe she's gotten to know you in all the other universes she's visited before this one, so you've got a special place in that dark heart of hers reserved just for you. Obviously you don't know this, so it comes off as very irrational and confusing. She makes it very obvious that she's upset, complaining and insulting whatever it is that's the source of her jealousy. If she's feeling sneaky, she'll probably stealthily shoot them into the void, sneak up on them when their all alone and not-so-subtly threatening their life. And please, let it be someone she's encountered in a past world she's visited that's crossed her-they'll meet their end long before this world meets it's own.

Having a nightmare

She'll lightly tease you about having one when you tell her what's wrong, but only lightly. She'll cup your face and pout, trying to soothe you. She knows nightmares suck, she'd be lying if she said she didn't have one about a few things in her past from time to time.

"Aw, there there, it's just a nightmare," she'll say, using her thumb to brush the tears away from your eyes.

Outside at 2am

She wakes you up by staring you down in your sleep, her face mere centimeters away from yours. After that, she drags you along to rob a gourmet ice cream shop. It kind of annoyed you to be spooked out of your sleep this early, but the overpriced moose track ice cream you got was worth it

High School

As friends(?): Lui YingLing was one of those weird kids-the ones that sharpened both sides of her pencil on the sidewalk behind the school building weird. Very much a bully and has a lengthy school record filled with writeups. She'd disrupt class (he favorite teacher to annoy was Dr. Sommers) and when she wasn't disrupting classes from the inside, she'd be cutting them and disrupting them from the outside.

You, however, were the complete opposite. You were invisible for the most part. You kept your head down and were very timid-making you very easily imposed on. It was hard to speak up for yourself-a trait that Lui had taken notice of. She found you cute, amusing, and almost saw you as some sort of plaything. She would "borrow" things, like your pencils and a notebook and your lunch money and promised to pay you back and return your items. She did....kind of. She would take your notebooks and color and draw all in them and write some stuff about you in Cantonese. She'd return pencils and markers all broken and used up, and lunch money, well....you were to shy to even bring it up to her. She loved making you uncomfortable, casually slinging her arm over your shoulder as she went on an on about how she wanted to stab another student in the eye about something and you just had to sit there like😨
