Y/n smiled to themselves as they watched the tiny mouse nibble on a piece of cheese they just gave it. They ran their digit over the rodent's head, the creature squeaking happily and tapping it's back paw on the table as if it were a dog. Hearing sharp, precise footsteps behind you, it scurried of the table and scaled up the body of a sleek simulacrum.
"I see my companion here has graced with its presence," Ash's smooth robotic spoke, startling Y/n a little and causing them to jump.
"O-oh! Hi Ash! Didn't see you there." They rubbed at their neck sheepishly, eyes darting around the room to avoid Ash's. "You need something?"
"Actually, yes. I was looking for this little one right here. It seems to have taken a liking to you." She turned to leave, but her mouse scurried over back to Y/n. They tried to coerce the rodent to go back to Ash, but it nuzzled up against their cheek, squeaking in content.
"I see." Ash stepped towards them, leaning forward. Her eyes made contact with their e/c ones. "It can stay. You will take care of it. But if it is harmed in any way-" she leveled their blade at their throw. "Well, we'll just find a out if that ever came to be."
