WINCE OF GUILT

Whole family wait for the two guests as one of them is going to decide the future before they look towards the stairs from where karna and Ekalavya are walking down.

They watch both of them coming towards them but Karna stopped halfway while Ekalavya came forward as everyone felt their lungs stop working for a moment before Ekalavya bowed down, catching all off guard.

Startled they all moved forward to stop ekalavya but stopped when they hear ekalavya saying "I apologise for the inconvenience caused until now and............I am ready to marry Rajkumari Subhadra"

They all stare at Ekalavya with astonishment before Vasudeva came forward, hugging him with a smile of relief and happiness as he speaks "thank you very much Ekalavya. The wedding will take place in evening, the preparations will be done by then...........but your family?........"

"I have karna with me, he is my brother" Ekalavya says as Vasudeva nodded looking at his family before they all went inside for the preparation leaving Ekalavya and subhadra alone there with karna few steps behind ekalavya and the Pandavas at the corner.

Subhadra look at Ekalavya with astonishment and worry who noticed the stare making him look at subhadra with a smile which should be reassuring but it is too quivering to be calm and it clearly shows the uncertainty Ekalavya has.

"Nishadha Raj, I apol-"

"it's okay Rajkumari. I have already sent letter to Dushala about this" Ekalavya let a shuddering sigh before turning to look at karna who signaled him to go back to his room to rest which ekalavya did before karna also turn around to leave but stopped when he hear subhadra's voice from behind.

"thank you"

Karna turn towards subhadra before raising an eyebrow in confusions making her let out "I know what I did was not good and it will never be. Me and dushala are best friends yet here I did this to her...............I know you must have helped him and will continue doing so.........bhratashree told me" before she turn around to leave while krishna came inside from outside only to find karna there who ask him "what did you told about me?" making krishna smile while saying "nothing much"

Narrowing his eyes karna look at krushna who still have same smile on his face before karna sighs, going towards the guest room while muttering "winning from him is impossible"

The Pandavas felt their thoughts swirling around by the fact that it is still two people getting married who are just as stranger as two new born babies.

They know Ekalavya only decided to get married cause of the guilt he is going to face by leaving everything on subhadra but right now when he put the vermillion on subhadra's forehead there is still too much going on in his mind which can be seen on his face, of course why won't Ekalavya feel this? He is married to Dushala, the girl he loved without knowing her even and then came this far to win yet here here he is getting married again.

They know it is Ekalavya's manners and him being warrior that shows the fact that he did not want to let subhadra face anything later after telling her parents, so he agreed to get married but only God knows what will happen later in Nishadha when Subhadra and Dushala will meet, especially when Ekalavya has already sent letter to Dushala about this. And they know why he send the letter, cause he does not have courage to face that girl whom he promised to be with until the end of life, after the betrayal.

If only the groom decided to have courage then it wouldn't had happened but-

"the marriage is completed, take blessings from the elders"

-it is too late, now.

They watch Ekalavya and Subhadra taking blessings from everyone including their mother before Ekalavya stand up and then suddenly touched karna's feet making subhadra touch too while karna, who got caught off guard, stare at them with surprise in his eyes until he remembered he has to give blessing.
