Both of them stared at each other until the onyx eyes found its way to the blood in his hands making them widen while the hands curled into first.
Coming out of trance first, the Eldest Kaurava turn away to enter the bath place as he take a deep breathe. Since he didn't entered his room in the morning, he decided to cool down his mind by taking bath.
Just as he come out of bath place, ready to sleep while drying off his hair, he flinched lightly when a soft hand grab his injured hands just as he sat on the bed.
The haldi paste carefully spread on his injured knuckles as he kept his eyes on the hands, not looking up before biting his lips when the sound of anklets started fading away.
The night came out to be so long that even when he was laying beside her while staring at the ceiling, the sleep didn't came nor his painfully clogged throat opened.
In the last, the aching body of screamed him to relax and since he can't here, his mind forced him to get up from the bed but before the room's door could open a voice halted his body.
"Duryo"
It took all his senses to get his body working as he turn around to find the figure of the last person he could meet eyes with, sitting while directly staring at him.
Taking a deep breathe, he first hought to avoid it again but he can't, he just can't when they both live under same roof, therefore he stepped forward without meeting her eyes.
It was silent until he realised that it should be him who should explain, not her.................
"It was Chedi Naresh........"
"Did you killed him?"
He shook his head slowly, hesitant if he should tell her before deciding that hiding should be last thing he would want right now.
".................He is alive...........but......."
The silence followed after became too much suffocating that if she didn't had opened her mouth, he would had fainted right there.
"This........[GULP]......" He glanced at her hands that are resting on her stomach as hears futher "I am thinking of abortion" making him clench shut his eyes.
-------------------------------
Both of them that this unborn soul has no fault but...............
Her vision filled with tears as she look at him only to have her eyes widen when she found his vision filled with tears too but she knows it is of same thought as her.
How selfish of both of them! They don't want to kill this pure soul but has no heart to keep it nor has courage to raise him/her.
In the last, the night passed away without his reply as both of them just sat on the bed until the sun peaked from clouds making Duryodhana leave the room with after, leaving her alone.
The morning is supposedly too calm for her but her situation didn't stopped her from fulfilling her responsibilities as she serve tea to her in-laws and elders before she found herself standing above the stairs. Her hands gripped the railing tightly, sweating furiously without slowing down of heartbeats.
It takes only one push to End all of this. She took a deep breathe before closing her eyes, a tear escaping before her steps forwarded. Ready to bath in her own blood and he pain coming, she tightly gripped her saree, leaving the railing but the pain never came instead a tight grip came around her right arm.
She opened her eyes when the grip pulled her towards a strong figure as she opened her eyes only to look into heavenly grey eyes making her lips quiver. The tears slowly fall as she rested her forehead against his chest where his heartbeat could be heard.
The weak body of her couldn't manage to hold her through the pain as she slide down on the ground but the hands under her knees and back says otherwise as she look at his blank face with wife eyes.
The door of their room opened as she found herself laying on the bed but before he could leave, she grabbed his wrist, muttering a low "please" before fainting.
AT NIGHT
The onyx eyes opened before looking beside itself only to get surprised when she found the owner of heavenly grey eyes checking the papers while sitting on the chair beside her. It took her a moment to realise that she is still grabbing his wrist but it still mad her leave his hand as she stare at him who is calmly looking at the paper in his free hand. Her heart only beat faster upon realising that he didn't even tried to make her leave his wrist.
"Duryo" The hoarse voice of her made her wince as she found herself staring into his eyes who stare at her without panick, calm and blank of emotion.
"Why do you always decide to hurt yourself?" His low voice entered hee ears as she closed her eyes before opening them only to find him pouring water in the glass with one hand since the other is still being held by her.
"Here" She didn't thought that he would take care of her but he did as he helped her in sitting position while tightly grabbing her hand that is already being held on grip of her.
She drink the water, still staring at him who didn't looked away like usual, staring with same intensity as her's.
"You want to keep this child?" The first thing that she came out of her mouth after his name is this question that only made her wanted to beat herself but his reply "it is your choice" took her every comprehensive sense as she look at him with hurt evident in her eyes.
