"Rajkumari?"
The whole atmosphere became cold just as the other Rakshas Sena came on the opposite side while the second the eldest kaurava look at both Sena with confusion until his eyes almost bulge out with shock when the lady slowly released his wrist as she raised her hand while still wearing his angavastram over her head.
The newly come Rakshas Sena immediately went on their knees in a respect position which usually is for royal family.
-------------------------------
The Rajkumari lightly nodded, noticing the Rakshas Sena standing up straight in fighting position before she glanced towards her saviour from under the angavastram, noticing his surprise face making her almost laugh but she held it back as she hear a voice filled with anger and accusion from behind.
"How dare you send your already married Rajkumari to our Maharaj!??"
"Married?" She hear a familiar voice of an elder person asking with confusion before the other Rakshas Sena point towards the man while saying "Your Rajkumari is already married to him!!"
She was ready to hear denial from the man who saved her and that is a big point when no one helped her except for a stranger who helped her despite him coming to RakshasVan for an important work(from what she heard while hiding behind the bushes) but what will happen when he will deny this lie?.............She will have to go back-
"She is. We are married"
Huh?
All of her people looked towards her with shock, surprise, confusion, she does not know since she herself is busy staring at him flabbergasted while he look straightly into the eyes of opposite Rakshas Sena.
Blinking out of shock, the Rajkumari glanced towards her Sena, finding all the soldiers in fighting position while the elders looking at her with an unreadable expression. For a moment she thought to deny it immediately but there were many thoughts that swirl inside making her nod neutrally as the elders stare at her before stepping forward circling around dushasana in in defense position.
"It is our Rajkumari's choice whether she wants to marry your Maharaj or not and I think it is quite visible here that she loves someone else and has tied the eternal bond with him. But it seems your Maharaj here and you all didn't understood-"
Despite the situation here, the Rajkumari felt the situation going all blur as she continues observing her saviour's expression that is quite tight making her wince internally since she has assumed what will the future paint.
All the things passed blurry as afterwards until the Rajkumari found herself standing inside a cave with an elder lady in front of her who takes the medicinal grasses from her hands before stepping forward while saying, sighing "were we not good enough as the elders? Are we not trustful enough?"
The Rajkumari felt her eyes stinging before her vision become blurry when she heard the elder woman saying "we failed Maharaj and Maharani that now the lady I see her as my daughter couldn't even tell about her heart's feeling, huh?"
It was all silent for a while as the sound of tears falling on the ground fill the silent atmosphere until the elder woman speak up again "forget about it now..........Let me clean your face, I have to prepare you for............."
For what? No one knows
"Come, after freshing up, put the Vermilion (sindoor) in front of the Devi"
If the situation was calm until now, it was definitely not now by the panick the said Rajkumari felt inside as sees the elder lady stepping towards her to remove the Angavastram from her head. If the Angavastram got removed then the elder woman will get to know about about her lie by seeing no vermilion on her hairline. She felt her breathe getting unstable by the nearing footfalls until the footsteps stopped making her look up from under the Angavastram veil, to find the elder woman looking past her as she also turn around to find the source of her save this time, which to her utter surprise it came out to be the same man.
"Anything you want Putra?" The elder woman asked gently making the man look at the woman hesitantly before he nodded, glancing towards her while saying "just........a little private time.........?"
The elder woman look at both of them before smiling sweetly as she walk out of the place leaving the man alone with her.
The awkward atmosphere remained until her saviour opened his mouth "Are you the Rajkumari of Rakshas?" and the first word sentence he let out made her dizzy suddenly but tried to remain stable since it is not her who has did anything, it is the man in front of her who saved and the last thing she want is for him to deal with her messed up life.
".....Yes"
She hears a sigh from the man making gulp in nervousness before he speak up again "I apologise for everything you have to deal with-" No, it should be her who should apologise "-earlier and not to forget about this messed up situation......... Don't worry, I will tell them truth right away"
No! She can't have them know about this lie. Them who has took care of her from her birth. Them became her parents after her parents walked towards the path of heaven. Them who has never forced her to do anything nor have mistrust her. How can she have them know about this? About how..........how she ran away from that hell in which she was about to bound into?
" 'o 'ease"
She can hear confused sound from the man but she has no choice..........no choice but "please don't tell them"
She said, she said that, looking up straightly into his eyes with her tearful vision while the Angavastram from her head slide down on the ground behind. She can see the man's eyes widen in surprise before it soften up immediately as a reassuring sentence "I won't" of the first time in this week, entered her ears.
After some sniffles, she clears her vision, glancing towards the man who is awkwardly staring at the wall making her speak now "Thank you so much for me saving me today Mahoday"
"It's ok-"
"It is not okay when you got caught into this mess because of me.............let me introduce myself, I am Rajkumari of Rakshas Van, Hidimba, Sister of former Rakshas Raj Hidimba"
The long after followed silence tells many things making her thought that he has ruined something even when it was never here in the first place until a heavy voice also speak up, breaking her train of thoughts.
"Pranipat Rajkumari Hidimba. I am Kaurava Rajkumar of Hastinapur-" Though there was no introduction of his name, it still felt calm to hear that there is no hostility from any side "-and I wanted to tell you that I supposedly came here for an important thing..........which can be only done by you Rajkumari"
Huh? That's quite................surprising.
"Ji?"
"Do you perhaps know, how to break a celestial marriage?"
"Celestial Marriage?"
"Yes, a celestial marriage or a marriage done by celestial blessing"
"..........may I know, for whom you are asking this?"
"................"
"It's okay if you can't tell I have to meet that person in order to reveal that since it just can't be revealed to just anyone, I mean-"
"It's okay, I understand...........[DEEP BREATHE]............."
"I am s-"
"Putra! Putri!"
And it seems the further talk is for later.
