NEXT MORNING
The morning is known by Duryodhana through the passing sunlight from window as he wake up, feeling light which definitely is a defination of better morning for him.
He walk towards the balcony, not opening the door so that the person sleeping won't feel cold as he look through window, finding two of bestfriends walking inside the palace. They must be back from riverbank after Surya Puja of Surya bhakt.
It still manages to surprise Duryodhana, how karna wake up so early? And that to always? Though, not thinking much, he went to freshen up, only to find his wife sleepily awake upon coming back.
"You can sleep more if you want" He muttered, only to earn a head shake of denial as the sound of anklets fade inside bath place.
While she get ready, Duryodhana decided to have a talk with his mother, not wanting his brother and his sister-in-law to face same thing as him on the next day of marriage.
"I will personally go to wake them up, don't worry" Surprisingly she understood that easily and even decided to help them by not sending maids first and he couldn't help but mutter out a small 'thank you', earning a caressing of head.
Soon enough Duryodhana found himself eating breakfast with the guests as dushasana join them after a while, must be coming after doing Puja.
Not even much later, the table be one chaos full as his brothers started picking on dushasana including some of the guests to which dushasana glare at his brothers while just smile stiffly at the guests.
The breakfast completed with playful teasings to the newly married groom before they send off Dwarka family and Panchala family while Nishadha family of course is forced to stay here for a day more and is ordered, more like request for son-in-law to visit Dwarka on their way back...........They truly pity Ekalavya, being son-in-law of two Big Powerful Families while others at the same time envy him.
Soon enough Karna and Ashwathama also asked permission from Mata Gandhari to leave which of course wasn't given easily but having so many work reason, they agreed after giving so many gifts and sweets to them.
It was quiet for a while as Ekalavya was resting in his room while Draupadi, dushala and Subhadra are hanging out together and Bhanumati is reading a book in their room, leaving duryodhana alone to have few moments with himself. Not to forget that Mata Kunti is with Mata Gandhari and the five are nowhere to be found........to his luck.
While doing all work, Duryodhana felt his throat dry as he go towards rasoighar only to find the newly married bride slicing fruits which is not at all a problem except the panick look on her face upon his sudden arrival and her not having veil on her head.
It makes him wonder, who in the first place even started this tradition? And why? And if it has no good outcome then why is everyone even following it? Though luckily his mother wants her Daughter-in-laws to be comfortable and that's why the rule is only for a month, not much and only do whatever they feels comfortable in. That's why he along with his bestfriends admire his mother constantly as she never seizes to surprise them.
"Bhratashree"
While drinking water, Duryodhana hear a low voice as he turn around to find Hidimba in her veil before letting out a questioning sound making her continue.
"The bracelet on your wrist-" Haven't even completed her sentence and he can already feel the oxygen leaving his lungs "-is it related to Panduputras somehow?" And now he can officially say that he can't breathe anymore.
It wasn't long until he blinked, finding only few seconds have passed as he faces his sister-in-law who gaze held a certain understanding which he can't take right now.
