IN THE MORNING
The sun shine bright through the closed curtain of the dark room as the calm silent breathing of the Maharaj of Hastinapur can be heard from the left side of the bed while the right side of the bed remain empty until the Maharani of Hastinapur come out of bath place while fixing her saree.
It was all okay until she checked in the mirror, noticing that the hem of her saree is not good making her open it again as she fixes her pleats again to check it in mirror. But when she look at the mirror she found her husband getting up making her panickingly cover herself, with the loose hem of the saree covering from front while leaving her back bare with only deep neck blouse.
The embarrassment of the Maharani was at peak until she glanced at the mirror to notice that duryodhana didn't even looked up from the ground, as he went to freshen up silently while rubbing his both eyes which were fixed at the ground.........
"is he purposely looking down?"
The eldest daughter-in-law of Hastinapur properly fixed her saree before wearing the jewelleries and taking care of her make up since she already put vermillion (sindur) right after coming out of bath place.
She check her appearance in the mirror while thinking about last night. In all honesty, she did heard rumours about duryodhana and not everyone is bad but not everyone is good, though it didn't let her assume about duryodhana on her own. She waited for time he will be in front of him and she can't say that he didn't astonished her cause about the appearance, he definitely stood up the those discriptions about him.
The aura around screaming nothing but authority of the person, tall height, warrior built body yet there is no trace of scar, broad shoulders, short hair considering royal family background, and not to forget the face - there is no point in saying that a royal family member is more handsome or beautiful than others since they have always been taken care of by big people. But still, there is always some expression of a person which makes that person more attractive but seeing his face which was expressionless, for the first time it felt that one can look attractive even without saying or doing anything. It reminded her of some rumours which said that till date no one has seen him smile, but yesterday the question got answered, what is the need to laugh when just one glimpse is enough to attract anyone? The hands that supposedly came out to be rough but felt warm and gentle while grasping her own were enough to give her courage to step inside the palace which is from now own her home.
In the last it was supposed to matrimonial night, so she didn't had much to say but there is no denying that it didn't made her nervous and scared, though it only lasted a while before it got covered by confusion when she heard her husband's words. It would had felt like hatred or ignorance if she didn't noticed his clenched, lightly trembling fist. Now, it might seem bad but it did gave her reassurance to know that she isn't the only one who is nervous...........talking about how she knew that her husband is nervous?
It is because from the time she saw him till the time in bedroom, he didn't clenched his fist nor had stand stilled like he is at the cliff but he did both right after entering the room, it seems he was also nervous about it matrimonial night and by getting a new stranger, person in his life...........for forever. It is an assumption since she does not know about him but she do have warriors in her family and that's why she knows that a warrior can only act openly only when they are nervous or their emotion is out of control otherwise they are the most unreadable people on earth which the King of Hastinapur did came out to be until the bedroom, which told her that he is nervous.
Bhanumati didn't realised that her fixing has been completed until a loud click of door entered her ears as she look at her husband who came out of the bath place, ready but still need to get ready by wearing angavastram, jewelleries and mukut (crown).
She stepped back from the mirror, giving her husband space as he comes in front of mirror to get ready while bhanumati comb her hair, of course she ain't letting anyone touch her hair when from childhood till yesterday, it was her mother who did her hair except her and no one.
A moment later, she slide behind him to check her hair in mirror before glancing up, only to notice her husband tying his hair making her frown slightly since having such small hair for a royal, he will look much better with open hair but who is she to suggest that to him? She didn't realised herself staring continously until their eyes meet in the mirror making her eyes widen as she immediately turn around while her husband remained nonchalant.
While he fix his angavastram, she glanced around the room, until her eyes went to the bedsheet which will be soon washed by maids and since nothing happened yesterday, they will definitely talk and soon everyone in the palace will get to know about it including the elders..................[GULP] maybe she should had-
"have to go to Rajya sabha"
A mutter cracking through the silent atmosphere took her attention, making her look at her husband who went towards the bed before moving towards the table where the fruit basket is kept. He take out the knife from it before cutting his wrist making her eyes widen at the such action as he let the blood flow onto the middle of the bedsheet until it satisfied him, before washing his wrist and knife as he covered his cut by angavastram.
"come" She came out of trance when he offered his right hand towards her as she slowly slide her hand in his, before grabbing it as they both walk out of the room where no one notice them until a voice from behind caught their attention.
"guess jyeshth came back"
