A flicker of emotion pass through his eyes but before she could recognise it, it vanished as he shake his head "you already know" making her grit teeth.

"No! I don't know. You tell me" Her Fierce eyes glare at him as she understood that he still avoiding her questions but this time she is not going to let him go.

Her hand tighten around his wrist as she stare at him who look at her before letting out "do you?" making her click in annoyance but his full question took her mind spiral.

"Do you want to keep this child?"

"Even when we have nothing like couple?"

"You would raise this child without thinking about that night? this emotion that has sent you this down?"

"You won't call this child a accident?"

"Will you?"

"If I want to, will you call this child a accident of us? A incident that sent your mind such downfall? Will you even recognise this child as yours?"

His silence would had answered many things, though now she knows that his silence and his words shows different emotions but none of them lies, hence she want to hear it.

"hmm[SIGH]" The Maharaj of Hastinapur stare outside the window, looking at the the birds who are the messengers of rumours. Wondering if yesterday's Chedi incident has spread around the whole Aryavarta cause he knows Karna though being his best friend, can't hide this incident cause the biggest part here is 'him being Samrat of Aaryavarta' and that gives him more heavy responsibility towards political side. Not like, he mind even if the rumours spread since he himself is responsible for it, not his best friend.

The Afternoon went again with lone thoughts and paperwork but before the evening time could start, the panick chaos in the palace took place.

Not even moment when all the men found themselves pacing around the garden while staring at the closed door inside which the ladies are with Draupadi.

While outside Vikarna is being comforted by his brothers as anxiously scratch his own arm until the door opened making him immediately sprint towards it as the Ved ji's wife startled before smiling gently, giving them all a sense of relief.

"Kumar" The one word that sent wave of happiness among all before the lady Ved glanced at everyone making everyone calm down immediately but the next word "Kumari too" even started hooting.

The ladies come out of the room as Mata Gandhari told them to leave the couple alone with the children until the unconscious tired Daughter-in-law wake up. All of them agreed but before they could leave from there, the new father came out with two small new born children in his arms protectively as he signal them to not to make noise but can lift the babies carefully.

The elders didn't wasted any chance to lift the boy, looking at him with so much love as the eldest Kaurava glance at his brother, worried if his brother is also hurt by this gesture of being biased towards boy but to his amusement, the new father is too busy showering his girl with love and care. It seems his stare was too sharp that Vikarna look at him before forwarding his arm to make duryodhana lift the child, although it made him panick internally so much, the one gentle touch of the new born baby girl made duryodhana feel a wave of calmness and peace as he stare at the pure soul's face.

The small baby in the elder's arms yawned making everyone awe before Vikarna's chuckle took the out as they let Vikarna take the baby before he went inside to put the baby beside the sleeping figure of his wife, in between of the bed. Soon both the new born children were in between their parents as Mata Gandhari made all of them away.

Tomorrow is going to be biggest day for everyone, especially for the newly became parents as it is the Naamkaran (Naming) of the first Grandson and Granddaughter of Hastinapur.

While the night is peaceful after a whole session of ladies making the newly became mother eat nutritious foods as the Ved ji did said, she is weak right now but fortunately, not at unhealthy Level, duryodhana still couldn't shake off the warmth upon holding the newly born pure soul. His eyes still couldn't forget the proud Ness swimming in his brother's eyes on being father of two beautiful children nor can he forget the look in her eyes that even if wanting to ignore, can't.

Truly, why should a pure soul be punished for something they have never done it? They are pure. Their life didn't even started properly and..................Why should he see a pure soul being killed when they have done nothing to deserve it? Especially when she is ready?

....................................If he couldn't became a good husband, can he not become a good father too?
