UNEXPECTED FEELINGS OF AMBIGUITY

Walking through the Corridor, Arjuna found himself looking at the beautifully bright moon that is shining alone in the darkness as he felt himself relaxing. Not like he wasn't relaxing but still his mind was quite on the fact how suddenly they five became six and yet karna still don't know that.

Though he won't that he does not think how would karna would react when he would get to know about him being their brother? That their mother adandon him? Maybe he will hate them............though from their experience at Anga, karna has no such feeling towards them, instead he is neutral to them but won't he hate their mother?............Not like it is his fault too but still would he hate her even when he respect her being the mother of his rival?...........Dunno. He can't assume a single about that person, he is unpredictable.

Walking further while feeling night breeze, Arjuna stopped when he found a figure in front of him as he squint his eyes little to find it is duryodhana who is looking his arm making Arjuna go towards him even though he wanted to leave duryodhana alone, he couldn't especially not after he has already blurred out.

"what are you doing here all alone?"

Duryodhana look towards and Arjuna can see light frown on his forehead making Arjuna frown before he eased up his own with duryodhana who speak "I could ask same from you"

"just taking night stroll"

"same"

Short conversation or duryodhana is trying to make it short which didn't went past Arjuna as he leaned towards the railing in the silence before asking "your arm can't stay without getting injured?" making duryodhana glare at him while saying "it is not injured and just keep quiet" trying his best to sound calm and polite but Arjuna can hear the anger behind it but he can also see that duryodhana does not want to fight otherwise he would had growled out by now but just hissed lightly just like in the afternoon, which Arjuna has learned from the time of forest.

Might he had not talked to duryodhana much but it didn't mean, his attention wasn't there. He was all time attentive when duryodhana got sick, when suddenly decided to eat upstairs in that dark palace, when his arm got injured yet duryodhana stayed neutral, when duryodhana and bhima suddenly acted neutral in the cave and the time when duryodhana was in his thoughts or more like thinking about his family and friends and the time when duryodhana and bhima started behaving different which can be said as weird too, with each other. His attentiveness is very much good and that's why he knows how much duryodhana's health has improved or can say he is now completely healed and good.

Looking at the moon for a while, Arjuna's attention got caught by the bracelet on their arms that are sparkling making him speak out "seems like they won't stop sparkling. What if it never come off?"

He expected duryodhana to hiss, snarl, warn or say anything but instead it was nothing as he look at duryodhana who is looking at his bracelet and his eyes are completely blank though there is an glint in it which Arjuna can't understand but still, he does not like it.

For some reason he didn't like how duryodhana become silent, again closed to himself and now here he is. It is not like Arjuna knows why duryodhana is here but not like he does not know too cause he is sure, something is troubling duryodhana's mind or heart and that's why he is here and if duryodhana want then he can just tell that to karna and ashwatthama and they would be here without any second thought but duryodhana don't want it and that's why he is here.

He seriously hates the way duryodhana is like this and he does not know why but he wants to tell duryodhana that opening his heart doesn't make him vulnerable but he can't that's why he satisfied himself by letting out a light huff and by teasing him or more on purpose picking on him cause duryodhana gives best reaction to these. Beside it seems, this time rather than teasing he unconsciously hurted duryodhana and he is definitely sure, he didn't wanted that but he does not know how to make it go away cause words can't be taken back.....................that's why they say, think before speaking.

Now that he can't undone the damage he has done he should just go back but before that, he should check if duryodhana's mood has lifted. Arjuna glanced at duryodhana only to notice duryodhana subconsciously rubbing his arm, right above the bracelet and he is sure, duryodhana didn't realised that now as he just gazed at the garden while rubbing his arm until Arjuna straighten up before saying "I will go to sleep" to which as expected, no reply came but Arjuna can still feel duryodhana's stare all the way until he turn around from the turn of corridor.

Duryodhana watch Arjuna going until he turn towards the path of his room before duryodhana look the moon only to say "you can come out" only to hear light footsteps from behind as the voice enter his ears "how did you know I am here?"

"you weren't exactly being sneaky about it.................Nakula" Duryodhana says turning around to find himself meeting dark orbs which stare at him without any emotion yet many emotions to even comprehend or count.
