THE HORROR OF REALISATION

[CRASH]

A loud crash echoed in the silent atmosphere of the palace. Fortunately, it didn't got heard by everyone due to the thick walls of Palace but the nearby people did as they all sprint towards the Drona Shishya archer's room.

"Arjuna!!"

"bhratashree!!"

The brothers of the said Archer, barge into his room only to find a shattered vase on the ground while the blood drip from arjuna's right hand who isn't even looking up at them.

Worried, all the brothers surrounded Arjuna, asking him making arjuna look at the dripping blood from the open wound on his right hand.

The twins immediately went to clean shattered vase with bhima, so that no one will get hurt as yudhishtir try to find cotton cloth to wrap arjuna's wound.

"bring the cloth here" A new calm voice took everyone's attention as they all look towards the open door to find it is karna with servant who came with cotton cloth while duryodhana entered the room while saying "make sure to clean properly"

The workers starts to clean up leaving the twins to take the cotton cloth from servant, so that they can put medicine on the cloth to wrap it around arjuna's wound.

While the twins work with with medicine, bhima and yudhishtir make sure about the clean up work as karna left from there soon after making duryodhana also turn around to leave but stopped to check on arjuna.

The eldest Kaurava took step towards the Archer who stepped back while the blood drip on the ground making duryodhana stop on mid track.

Arjuna expected duryodhana to frown or scoff but when he look at duryodhana's clear reflection in the mirror in front of him (Arjuna), he found the eldest Kaurava wearing expression of confusion with concern making the Archer bite his lips but he didn't said anything when the said King of Hastinapur left the room and the twins came to wrap up his wound carefully.

A while later, all his brothers left the room too after making sure that it was just an accident and that it won't happen again as arjuna lay down on his bed with a sigh full of tiredness. Though it didn't last much longer when his eyes caught the wrapped wound on his right hand making him mutter breathless "No way" before turn around with closed eyes to sleep.

AT NIGHT TIME

In the last, the dinner time completed with Arjuna eating dinner in his room making him bore since he isn't used to stay at one place for a long time.

Thinking it is already before midnight and the person he wants to avoid would not be present at this time, Arjuna went out to wander around the palace while thinking about afternoon's incident.

It was all calm and peaceful until arjuna's eyes caught the figure of person he wanted avoid desperately as he stare until the person in front also caught arjuna's eyes making the Archer practically sprint towards his respective room immediately but not before hearing a whisper "what is his problem?" in the silent atmosphere which didn't stopped arjuna from running inside his room as he lean against the door after locking the door from inside.

Heavy breathes filled the archer's room as he tried to calm his fasten heartbeat before he wipe the sweat off his forehead while glaring forward to his dark room, muttering "No! Not a man, Not my cousin, Not him! Never!"
