I called Dean, but he didn't answer, so I waited for him to call back, which he did. "Dean, where are you?" I asked. "Heyya Sis, no questions on what happened?" he asked back; with that, I knew it was him. "I want to know what happened, but you're not gonna tell me unless you want to." I shrugged my shoulder. "I need your help to find somebody," Dean told me. I agreed to help him, so I met him at my apartment. When the knock on my door came, I anxiously walked over and opened it. "Heyya Sis." Dean smiled brightly. He leaned casually at my door. I opened my door more comprehensively, and Dean strud inside. "I know you have questions," Dean said after I served him some coffee. "We can talk about that later. You're looking for somebody?" I raised an eyebrow, and Dean nodded. "Yeah, Benny Lafitte, but you might know him as Roy." Dean explained. "Roy's real name is Benny?" I asked, confused. Dean and I drove out into the forest where Benny might be; we found him living in an old camper. "It's not me, Dean." Benny said with his back to us while Dean and I approached him with machetes behind us, ready to fight. I raised an eyebrow. "Which me are we talking about, Benny or Roy?" Dean asked back when we both stopped. "Im just trying to blend in," Benny answered. "Blend in? By giving off a fake name?" I asked when Benny faced us. "Im sorry, hun. I couldn't risk it." Benny moved his lip a little. "Who you plant, Benny?" Dean asked. "Victim number two. If you're concerned about the missed calls, I didn't want to get you involved. Now, Want to safety that thing." Benny moved his hand to his own Machete. "talk a little bit or what?" he added. Dean motioned me to put the weapon away. "We're all ears." I leaned against the camper with my Machete packed away on my belt. "Rogue vamp. Found me at the Cafe a few nights ago. The youngster goes by the name of Desmond. He, uh, he remembers me from the good old days." Benny told us when I remembered a weird-looking guy just as I was about to leave. "That was a vamp?" I asked, and Benny nodded. "Yeah." Benny nodded. "The good old days?" Dean asked. I turned my head from Dean to Benny. Benny told us about Desmond, who wanted Benny to join his nest, but Benny refused, so he tried to get him out of his hometown. "You grew up here?" Dean asked. Benny nodded. "Born and bred. With Andrea gone and you hunting again, it seemed like the right time for a homecoming – you two being the only ones who keep all my ducks in a row. I returned to my old job at the café. I even found someone to hold myself accountable to. Best kind of someone, Dean. Family." Benny said with a light smile. "Elizabeth," Dean mumbled when Benny nodded again. "My great-granddaughter." Benny proudly told us. "Shit, your that old?" I asked. "Over 140 Years old, hun." My mouth dropped when I heard. "Really?" Dean asked while walking past Benny. "But you didn't?" Benny tried to ask but couldn't finish it. Dean shook his head when I finally got what Benny wanted. "No, does she know?" Dean asked, and Benny shook his head. "No. No, as far as she's concerned, I was just another drifter. I want to keep it that way. Walking the line here after all those years in Purgatory and not having to deal with hunger has been tough. But Elizabeth. She keeps me honest. I finally feel like I got a handle on this thing." Benny said. "Hang on, you were in Purgatory?" I asked Dean. "Kaylee, listen, I wanted to tell you." Dean lowered his voice. "Okay, wait, im confused." Benny raised his hand. "You're not the only one not using your real name." I smiled. "How do you want to handle things? Benny, you've got two stiffs on your hands and two hunters on your ass." Dean almost yelled. "Keep it down, brother," I whispered, motioning with my hand. "Oh, please. The half-wit who found me at the café? I'll take my chances with him." Benny waved Dean off, but I knew there was also my other brother. "That half-wit got sent by my brother, and trust me – my brother's not someone you want to mess with," Dean grumbled. "I sadly have to agree with Dean. Sam is ruthless if he made himself a goal." I let out a sigh. "I don't have time to worry about them, Dean. I didn't think Desmond had an ounce of steel in his spine, but I was wrong. So now I will do what I should have done two days ago: put him back where he belongs." I understood Benny at that point. "You want me to come with you?" It was just an offer, but I knew he would never get me hurt since I was Dean's Sister. Dean wanted to convince Sam and Martin to stand down while he, Benny, and I would go after Desmond. "I don't want to be in the same room with Sam at the Moment he abandoned me just after you went to Purgatory," I whispered as Dean and I walked back to the car. "Don't worry, I will talk to him; stay here with Benny." Dean left while I stayed behind with Benny, Dean called later that his mission failed.
