He texted me even when Sam needed help with a case he took alone. "You can do it, Sammy," I mumbled, reading the messages. I stayed at the motel when Jody called.
"Hey Jody, what's up?" I asked chirpy. "What's up with you? That's the better question," she replied. "Why are you asking? im fine," I said, a little annoyed. "Well, your brothers were here helping me with a vamp nest and mentioned you aren't talking," she said. "And you got my number from them and wanted to know why," I added while packing my bag. "Well yeah, because Im just curious to know." I could feel her shrug her shoulders. "I am three hours from Sioux Falls. I need to tell you this in person. Be there as soon as I can." With that, I hung up, finished packing, and checked out of the room I'd been hiding in the last weeks.
As I drove into Sioux Falls, I had a crazy feeling, but when I parked at the police station, there was no sign of Jody. "Mornin', im looking for Sheriff Mills," I said to the clerk at the front desk. "What do you want from her?" he asked back. "Here for business." I showed him my badge. "Just tell her Agent Smith is here to talk to her," I said with a friendly smile.
He walked away from the desk and into the back. I waited patiently and finally saw Jody coming from the back. "What the hell happened?"
I asked, worried, after she pulled me out of the police station. "Got beat up. That's what happened. Im fine." One side of Jody's face has bruises, and her lip is healing from a punch. "So, what's going on with you?" Jody asked after a pause, so I told her about the fight I had with my brothers and the promise they broke to Kevin, telling us to forget, taking off the blame for his death.
Jody grabbed her hand with a light smile. "You should just talk to them. It doesn't get better if you don't talk to them." Jody said. "You know I should come here often for advice," I said with a smile.
I thought about what Jody said to me while driving to the bunker. Sam and Dean weren't there, but I waited for them until 2 am when they returned, probably from a hunt. "I just wanted to say Im sorry for snapping at you both. It was a bitch move," I said while Dean walked past me to the fridge in the library. "I want you to under." Dean interrupted me. "Why didn't you tell me that Crowley is your brother?" he asked with a beer. "Because I know that you're gonna be mad about it," I replied after looking at Sam, who looked innocent. "Yeah, you know me so well," Dean growled. "You might hate me, but I want this asshat dead as much as you want."
I quietly said. "Good, because we must find the first blade to kill your brother," Dean grumbled, opened the bottle, and drank from it while walking off probably to his room; angry, I turned to Sam. "I didn't tell him; he asked me about it after he met Crowley in a bar," Sam said. I believed him right away, my mood changed, and I hugged him tight, and he placed his arms around me, embracing the hug. "Im sorry, Sammy," I whispered. "You don't have to. I forgive you." Sam touched my hair, pulling me closer. Sam and I went to our rooms. Dean woke us up early the following day. "Get dressed. We're heading out," he said as he blared music into my room while I stared at him with my gun ready to shoot. "Jesus Christ, Dean, I could have shot you," I grumbled. "Yeah, well, you haven't, so come on, princess, wakey, wakey."
Dean walked out of my room, and after some coffee, I was ready. We drove to a building and parked; as I got out, I looked confused since it was in the middle of nowhere. "Is this the address?" Sam asked next to me, getting out of the Impala. "yeah." Dean said on the other side while getting out of the car. We walked to the door, but before we could knock, the door opened. "If you follow me, the Commander will see you." he guided us through a room to some stairs leading up to an office. One person was inside, and when he turned around, we saw Cas. Although mine was a little weird, we hugged while Sam and Deans were brotherly. "Um, dismissed," Cas told the man who was our guide who left. "He can be a little stuffy," Cas told us. "So, Commander?" Dean looked confused at Cas while I chuckled. "Yeah, they had no leader and insisted on following me," Cas said. "Yeah, I get it. You're a rock star." Dean playfully said. "I needed to do something about Metatron and Gadreel as powerful as they are now," he told us. I slowly shifted my weight from one foot to another while they talked. The fight between Angels was going on for real, and Cas needed help getting information out of one of the angels they caught; I knew why Cas asked for Sam and Dean from what I had witnessed when Dean tortured Alastair.
"What can I do in the meantime?" I asked Cas, and he brought me to one of the tables and asked me to hack into all the cameras I could find in the search for Metatron. I only saw demon activity, so I returned to Cas's office. "Cas, Demon activity in Cleveland, nothing on Metatron or that other asshat, whatever his name is," I grumbled. Cas nodded, so I walked out. I felt a whoosh behind me; when I turned around, Cas was gone.
