I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I know," Sam scoffed. "Alright then." I hung up and followed Dean to Farmington Hills. We drove to the apartment; police were around but let us through when we showed our badges when a Sheriff came out of a room. "Sheriff. Special Agent Taggart, These are my partners, Special Agent Rosewood and Special Agent Jones." I showed the Sheriff my Badge. "FBI? You guys are fast. Haven't even got the body out yet." The Sheriff said. "Well, the FBI is all work. no play." I said with a smile. "Why don't you give Agent Jones and me the tour while my partner looks around?" Sam said. The Sheriff nodded after mumbling something about working better alone. Sam and I followed him into the bedroom; as I entered, I saw sheets on the floor with blood stains. I listened with half an ear to what Sam and the Sheriff were talking about the Victim. "Is something missing from the body?" I asked, looking up from the floor where one of the limbs was. "Aside from his limbs? No. All there, twig and berries too," he replied. I rolled my eyes slightly and was out of sight of the Sheriff. "And the neighbors, did they say anything?" I asked, turning back to my brother and Sheriff. "Neighbor downstairs said she woke up from horse feet stomping, but we found no hoof prints. Probably the TV, bad dream, or she was high." Sheriff slightly shrugged his shoulders. The Sheriff gave us a lead from the Victim's phone records about a possible suspect. While we walked back into the main room, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Dean walking out of the kitchen; as I quietly raised my eyebrow, he shook his head. I knew no EMF. Sam, Dean, and I went to the Police station to talk to Lance Jacobsen; when he mentioned a LARPG Group he and the Victim were in, we investigated and found something that made us look. I sat at the desk with the website open while the video played. Sam and Dean were behind me, watching over my shoulder. "Moondoor. A world of intrigue, honor, and passion. Four kingdoms: followers of the Moon, Elves, Warriors of yesteryear, and the dreaded Shadow Orcs. All will fight on the fields of never in the biannual Battle of Kingdoms. Pick up a sword or a mace. Take control of Moondoor and defend the current ruler..." The narrator said as a woman removed her helmet. I looked closer when I recognized her. "Hang on, is that?" I asked, looking up to Sam and Dean, who were also surprised to see Charlie. All of a sudden, Chaos broke out behind us, and when we arrived at the Sheriff, he told us that Lance was dead. Suddenly, he waved us over to the computer, playing the video of Lance scratching his arm and coughing blood in the interview room. The Sheriff walked away, mumbling about hand sanitizer, feeling Sam sitting on the chair before the screen. "No EMF, no hex bags, no sulfur. I got nada. You?" Dean asked. "Watch the video again." Sam nodded to the video, replaying it from Lance. Sam stopped the video and zoomed in from Lance's arm. "What's that on his arm?" I asked, pointing at the screen. It was the same symbol that Ed, the first victim, had on his arm. "One of you recognize it from anything?" Sam asked both of us, but I could only shake my head. "Aside from the, uh, mark of the creepy here, the only thing these guys have in common is LARPing," Dean said, and I nodded. "Maybe we should go and check that out," I suggested that Dean, Sam, and I go to the Park Lance mentioned during the interview. As we walked around the tents and looked around, I felt like a nerd again, which I had felt when I was younger. Thanks to one of the LARPers who told us where to find the Queen. We walked to the field the guy pointed at, where a couple was fighting with foam swords; when one of the fighters went on his knees, yielding, we saw the other fighter take off the helmet, revealing Charlie. We all applauded for the defeated fighter, and while Charlie talked to the crowd, we listened until she spotted us. "the queen needs some royal "we" time. Talk amongst thyselves." Charlie said, running off towards one of the tents, where we followed her. While Dean was geeking about swords, I walked fast behind Charlie, who didn't stop. "Charlie," Sam called behind me as we entered her tent. She was not happy to see us since the last time we brought monsters with us like Dick Roman. "Charlie. Charlie! Greyfox and Thargrim, uh, Ed and Lance, they're not missing. They're dead." Dean finally told Charlie. "That is the only reason we're here," I added, nodding. Dean explained to her what we saw at the apartment and what happened at the police station. "The only thing we have is this symbol." Dean slid Charlie the picture of the tree. "Wait, I've seen this before. It's a Celtic magic symbol. At least it was in my favorite video game. Does that help? Can I go now?" Charlie asked. "What can you tell us about Ed and Lance?" I asked her. "Good guys. Two of the best members of the Queen's ever-shrinking army." Charlie said. Dean and I raised an eyebrow. Charlie told us about the bad luck she had in the past. "You think there's any connection there?" she asked after finishing. "What about enemies?" I asked. "No, I know if in real life, but in the game." Charlie got up from the table where we were sitting. Charlie explained that the field on the table was huge and had different colors.
