We stayed there until Dean woke us up the following day. "Piss off," I grumbled, which was my usual reaction when I awoke so early. "I have coffee." I heard Dean say in a singing voice. I grumbled incoherently before raising my hand for the mug. Sam also woke up; after coffee and toast, we continued to Stillwater. While alone, I listened to Music, ignoring it until we reached Stillwater. Sam Dean and I waited in the police station until the sheriff walked over; she looked bubbly. "Thank you for your patience, agents. The coroner's report finally came in," she told us, passing a file to Sam.
I leaned over to Sam. "Alright, thank you. Let's see. So did Wayne McNut weigh 300 pounds before death?" Sam asked. "316." Sheriff Hanscum corrected him. "What was the official cause of death?" I asked, looking over Sam's shoulder at the file. "Cardiac arrest, but that's just between you and me. The vic suffered massive organ damage." Sheriff told us before turning to one of the ladies sitting close to us and handing her a file. "Ruptured spleen, pierced liver, collapsed lungs. Looks like it got all sucked out of his body," she added, pouring a cup of coffee. "You mean like with a vacuum?" I asked, and she nodded. "Yeah, yeah, you know I got to be honest," she said, taking a donut out of a box and offering it to us. At the same time, Sam rejected the offer, and Dean and I grabbed one, knowing we both would have a sugar crash in a few minutes since those were sweet and covered in powdered sugar. "This normally doesn't happen in Stillwater." she continued while Dean and I went for the donuts. "Did Wayne have any enemies?" Sam asked, ignoring us munching on the sweet pastries. "More like a unfriendly rivalry," she added with her mouth covered in powdered sugar, she gave us a name of a rival he had from the last competition so we went his house and what he told us sounded that he wasnt the murder. Sam found a hex bag in one of the bathrooms, we quickly left returning to the motel.
I researched what this meant while Sam and Dean inspected the hex bag. "Im Romanichal culture, the pouch is called a Putsi bag. It's for hexes." I read from the screen. "So his girlfriend wanted to hex him?" Dean asked. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I had my hand on my gun, but when Dean opened the door, it was Jim's girlfriend standing in front of the door. I knew it was here from the pictures in Jim's house. She sat at the table with Sam and Dean on either side while I sat across from her with my laptop. She told us that she had an affair with the victim and wanted to run off with him. "Mala, can I ask why you wanted to put a curse on Wayne if you wanted to run off with him?" I asked with my head tilted to the side. "The Putsi bag is also a blessing. I wanted Wayne to win and run to Orlando with him to marry him after I quickly divorced Jim." She told me. We let her go and gave the bag back, but the following day, the police called and said that there was another mysterious murder at a gym. When we arrived and saw the body, it was just like the first one. While Dean looked at the body, I talked to the girl who found the body, but she was still traumatized, so she told me only about how she found her and called the police. When she went to grab a tissue, I saw a weird mark on her back. "It's all my fault." she whipped her tears away, and after some more talking, she started to cry even more, so I stopped. "Listen, just if you want to talk later, call me alright." I passed her my card, and just as Dean walked over, I told him about the mark I had seen on her back. "The victim had it too on her back," Dean told me back in the motel. Sam came back a few minutes after us from the morgue. "Find anything?" Dean asked. "Yeah, Wayne had the same suction mark on his neck below his hairline, just like Carol," Sam told us. "The girl also had the same suction mark on her back," I told Sam. "But she was skinny and alive," Sam mumbled.
"Yeah, and lost a lot of weight. When I asked her about it, she got embarrassed, but after some more pushing, she told me that she went to a spa and having a few "me" days to herself right here," I told them to show them the research I did while we were waiting for Sam. "Canyon Valley?" Sam asked, looking over my shoulder. "Yeah, maybe worth checking out?" I raised an eyebrow towards Dean and up to Sam. "How far away is this place?" Sam asked, skeptical. "A couple of hours," I said, finding out how long it would take us. So we journeyed to that spa resort and were soon interviewed by the owners.
Sam, Dean, and I lied if we were certified personal trainers. "Oh yes, Im a certified trainer." I lied, and Sam nodded. "Yeah, we all are," Dean added. "And in what are you certified?" Larry asked who was the co-owner with his wife. "Kicking ass and taking names," Dean said, earning him a smack on the back of his head. "Im so sorry for that. What my brother wants to say is that we love to help people and are all passionate about fitness." I explained. "Oh, us too. That's how we met." Maritza said that he was Larry's Wife.
